Happened to me a couple times and I finaly came up with this 13 step solution: Step 1: Scream realy, realy loud. Substep 1: Add various words not approved by Mother, teachers, or the religious right. (Note for step one: Length of scream and amount of un-approved words should be in direct proportion to the length of time working on image or model) Step 2: Reassure significant other, neigbors, and any animals living with you that you are, in fact, NOT being mugged or a have just learned you have a fatal degenerative disease. Step three: Try to reload file. Step 4: Repeat step 1. Step 5: Repeat step 2. Step 6: Reboot computer. Step 7: Try to reload file. Step 8: Repeat step 1. (Note for step 8: By this time you should not have to repeat step 2 again since said S.O., neighbors and pets have, by now, moved to Mongolia) Step 9: Shut down computer completely. Go to kitchen. Get a LARGE bowl. Go to freezer. Fill bowl with as much ice cream as it will hold (choice of flavor to be personalized to you. I prefer Dryer's Homemade Mint and Chocolat Chip). Eat ice cream. Step 10: With nerves having been calmed by the application of frozen, flavord dairy product, return to computer Step 11: Reboot computer. Step 12: Load Bryce. Step 13: START OVER. And this time remember to save project under multiple names! (Teri: Pleas take this in the spirit it was ment. Loosing hours, or even days and weeks, of work can HURT! Humor gets me through it or by this time I'd be more of a raving maniac than I already am! :)) Dean

Lots of good stuff!!! Thanks all! Though a rookie to the graphic arts, I've been a songwriter for over 30 years and knew there was more to it than just "selling" an image. But I wasn't sure what the "more to it" intailed. Now I have an idea and can go forward with a bit more confidence than I had. Thanks again!!! Oh yea ... I sent off my "requirements" as far as rates and such go. So now we'll see. Dean

Not quite the last, me bucko! It'll be a while before I can come up with dollar bills in vast enough quantities to upgrade. Until then I, like you, will "putter" along with 4! :) (Great image, by the way) DeanCarl

lalverson, While I understand fully your views on leaving work up here for viewing, I must say this. Edgenet has allready shown it's willingness to violate contract AND copyright laws and claim owenership of property, real and intellectual, that it does NOT own. Be very, VERY careful when posting images or textures you have created. Make sure you have records of when, where and how your work was created. Think I'm being paranoid? I'm a songwriter. Many years ago I wrote a song that I didn't think all that much of, but sent out to various publishers. Didn't here anything back so forgot about it, quit performing the song, and lost all the records I had concerning the writing of the song. The song? "Follow Me", later recorded in it's entirety by John Denver and made a BUNDLE. My take? Zero. So go ahead an post what you will. But watch your butt! :) DeanCarl

Tim, As a songwriter as well as a graphic artist I am VERY conversant in copyright law. I suggest VERY strongly that you look closely at your claim of "work for hire" concerning ANY of the images on this site, including, but not limited to, those of the former administrators. Work For Hire must be identified as such BEFORE the work in question is published. If it is not all copyright and legal ownership resides with the creator of the work. DeanCal
