.. i do mix up Poser and DAZ quite often. und Yeah i'm sure there are no problems 4 commercial artists if GNU is involved. and YES ! I'm very happy that this discussion is well accepted ... so possible all thos great modellers i've seen out there are thinking about NOT working for a company that (besides paying lousy) prohibits creative minds to do their thing. Well ... if we talk about pictures OF objects ... there used to be CANOMA ... to do modeling and texturing rathre easy for rather easy objects. if we talk about pictures BEING objects in a scene ... well there should be no prob. after a little look in the handbook regarding 2d objects ;)

Great deal better than first run ! VirtualSite ist right about the scene-setting .... about fog/haze thing ...well ... being a hybrid artist ... i usually do things like that in postwork ... give it a gun through photoshop ... the gaussin blur does MAGIC to over-detailed grounds and edges .... congrats ....your on the way !

Cool image ! I used the Dino's too but found that a) some modelling at the claws is req. b) skinning them is a must esp. with dino's just IMHO

Seems like the SirCam Virus ... replaces rundll32.exe and other things ... try a virus-cleaner ... a free/good one is on the symantec / Norton Site.

Not only your Problem Deathbringer ! Had the same trouble with projects saved in Bryce 4 opend in Brcye 5 and doing weird things to the display ... again ... manual refresh of Elsa Gladic didn't solve the prob ... i usually solve it by selecting the resolution under the "Render Option" ... then bryce get's back on track

Very interesting POVs here! IMHO if it's not regulated by the rule of the challenges, we should be free to choose. On the other hand I feel quite a lot more challenged by a tough restriction ... so why not give it a try and have the next challenge a pure-bred-Bryce-only one ? I'm really curious to se some un-post-prod-edited works ! Deibuzo
