Runwolf 13: Please read my posting again: I didn't say patriotism is bad. But this kind of patriotism I called "hurray-patriotism" is something very differant. It means the feeling of superiority or/and arrogance against others. Tell me what else it is when you denigrate a whole nation with pics called Iraqui resistance or others and you call this "humour" No, gebe, I don't think there is anything wrong with chris0815 sense for humour. Yesterday I've seen in television the faces of two american prisoners of war - childs, nearly grown up, not understanding what happens and seeing for the first time the dirty face of the war. This is reality, this is war, not the neat and clean face of war, those images I feel offended by, show us. Sorry, but I can't find anything glorious and wonderful in dying and fighting - and who else tells this is a lyer! Images showing a trivialized face of war are only good for propaganda purposes. Sorry - I'm German and we no better than other nations by bitter experience the way, this kind of advertising leads to! You call yourself a patriotic person, runwolf13. This is nothing bad as far as it means you love your country. (I love my country too without being blind for the faults of past and presence) But this becomes something really bad if you wan't to convince other people by armed force of your opinion. And the worst thing is to glorify killing and dying. No, I don't think propaganda is an acceptable kind of art.
Thread: Finally without the assistance of a veterinary... | Forum: Vue
LOL Please could anybody translate: "Caravage's paintings" for me? No idea what it is. I agree with you, Argentium Thri'ile, that the light should be on the baby but those textures available for the Millenium baby are incredible awful - it has either a look like a marzipan pig or like something made of solid plastic. That's the reason why I abstained from softening the shadows... ...the size of the animals - o, I forgot to mention, this is a only a part of a bigger image and there are some more things, you will maybe find astonishing: a alpine style stable, snow on the scene and more. It is inspired by something, we have in Bavaria beneath our Xmas trees and we call:"Krippe" (crib)The characters in those scenes are carved from lime tree wood and every generation added one or two figures. My own "crib" - the oldest figures are about 250 years old - has elements in VERY differant sizes. (Some of my sheeps are the same size as the ass)

LOL I'm sure, I can't write without laughing. Sorry about this confusion! Gebe: I allready thought about hiding the udder in Vue - and I agree with you, it's not such a painful procedure as consulting the veterinary. But - sorry it looks like a cow anyhow. I was looking for some really fat and cosy animal like those who pulled my grandfathers plow. This endless discussion above is the result of my poor knowledge of english. Walter: It seems, as if I must use the poser-cow. I think I must hide this "cow-ox" a bit in the background that it doesn't matter so obviously. Again - thanks to all! I'm really amused by this discussion.

thanks a lot - but I'm not looking for the donkey - there's a beautiful poser4 horse morph on 3D Model World. But steer - sorry about this - in Germany we mean with this term a male cow with all his gender specific beauty - a "ox" would be the castrated version. This happens in the youth of the poor calf and so it would appear much bigger and much more fat than a steer. Hope I didn't hurt anybody with my excursion to farm-life.

Sorry - but this is a bison or something like that. I'm looking for some other animal. In my dictionary I found another word for this - bullock or numskull. Sorry, I'm German and the english language knows a lot of differant words for one thing. It is even hard to decide which one is the right. I'm looking for this animal beside the manger in the stable of Bethlehem

Hi Guitta, I think this must be a homemade problem of renderosity - don't think 213 KB are huge! Yesterday I didn't reach renderosity for two hours and afterwards it was so slow loading the sites that I finally gave up looking other pictures.

Thanks to u all - gebe: the arch is a untextured 3ds file which I converted to a vob file and textured it with a high resolution photo of a ivy-covered castle wall. deadhead: lol I tried nearly every camera position I can imagine - but the result was not really satisfying. The haze is near zero - perhaps it depends on the volumetric light that comes from above that it seems, there would be a lot of haze. Aleksander: sorry - the picture isn't yet finished and the gate is not the major problem - its this d... arch!
