WOW! Another person to add to my love/hate list. I like his stuff so much I hate him for it :)~

WOW. Well to sum things up about the "knock off" Yeah it was a copy given to me by a friend so its deffinately not registered. The only reason I have ever used it was to get used to the GUI of it and lets say its just a bit above my head since when he left he took his manual with him with all the nice highlighted info and nots which explained it in laymen's terms for a dummy like me. Once I do get the hang of it I do plan on buying a copy even though I have heard its up to $3,000.00. Since I am not that great at making anything (other than textures possibly) I don't plan on selling anything soon. A teacher once told me that as long as I am using said "questionable programs" as a learnign tool and not selling anything that has been worked on through them then It would be ok. It lets me learn how to use the item and hopefully be on par when I actually do buy it. Adobe is getting purchased as we speak as is Poser5 and should be at my house when I get home. Gonna grab a copy of UV mapper pro also. Sorry about the "questionable software" part. Its just that those are the items I have at my disposal to "learn" with since thats what this is about.

I like dark dramaticly lit subjects(still shots animation is still way beyond me at this point). I have seen so many things that look cool and sometimes its quite humbling when I see some of the work you guys put out. Slightly frustrating but at the same time its very inspirational. Gives me that "Crap all I did was pose a bunch of other peoples models and nothing in the pic is mine." feeling.

I do not know how to program script at all :( perhaps thats why modeling anything is giving me a headache. I do use bryce or did alot but even it began to give me dificulties for some reason it will not export "anything" anymore.

How difficult is it to learn Vue and Maya?
Also are you able to import OBJs into Mojoworld?
What are the models you use the most (the base model they come from)?

Anyway thank you very much for the responses looks like I will be good and broke a week after I get back. :)

WHOHOOOOO I am going to definately use your tutorials specially the ones for poser4 atm. You wouldn't happen to have a link to one that vtells me "how" to make basic clothing do you?

AWESOME! Thanks nerd! I have to say I love the fact that almost everyone in Renderosity is sharing of thier time and helpful. Whenever I get feeling uninspired all I end up having to do is post or chat and someone always picks me back up and gets me baack on course. Hi Guys. Sorry about the misunderstanding with my sister. I refered her to Renderosity as I found it to be one of the best sites to "safely" challenge ones creativity. When I did I think she thought that I had used the site for years and knew my way around. Sorry sis I only knew about it for the last few years and just recently opened a membership. She really can write if you manage to get her to stop spraying cheese wiz like silly sting around the room. :)~ Sibling rivalry really is one of the best challenges I have come across. Just want you guys to know she was pleased with the feedback even if she can't find the rule sets on what how and where to post. (I am still working on that for my own type of creative works) Anyway just wanted to say how much I enjoyed the poetry on this string.
