Woot I was able to place my order! Ok so it took over an hour to get the cart to finally show up and make it through all the steps to submit the order but it IS working it's just really really slow atm

Ditto on the cart thing. I was able to get my Prime renewal but after that I get the evil animated window tyllo shows above and when the cart finally shows up there are SQL errors behind the actual cart images and it won't let me add/remove stuff...

Hopefully you guys will be able to get it sorted before the $5 sale ends :crying:

I heard from the gentleman who was assigned to test the bug and he confirmed that he is able to reproduce it so afaik it is now with the team who goes into the coding etc to track down what's causing it.

Hello,

If I might ask if you changed any of your library/directory settings when you Installed 2.55? I'm running the 64-bit version as well and I've had this happen when I moved some files but it usually pops up an error, if not in the popup window then in the log file.

You can access the log file via the "Help : TroubleShooting : View Log File" from the main toolbar in DS. That might help to pin down what is causing the error with your file loading. If it mentions being unable to find .dso files or some such thing the method below should fix it for you.

A good way to get .daz files from previous builds to work if they are not is to setup the figure/prop whatever it is that's not showing up in the scene in DS with whatever morphs you need applied, or just injected, and then save that out as a scene that you can delete the .daz file for when you are done. When you save a .daz file it converts all the information to .dso format and saves it in the data folder (usually in your main DAZ Studio folder). This should then allow you to open the .daz scene that was giving you trouble before and have everything load in as it's supposed to.

I totally forgot it was transfer the Morphs with MM and I went and transferred everything instead of selecting the copy morphs only option  rolls eyes  So naturally she was ALLLLLL messed up and quite ummm "stretched" to her limits and then some. blushes

I am happy to report however that my day and a half of utter newb-ness has passed and Girl 3 is fully recovered and prancing through my runtime snatching clothes left and right grins happily

But for those who want to do it anyway:

Open GIRL 3.cr2 in a text editor.
Search for :  AIKOGIRL 2.obj
Replace it with AIKOGIRL.obj
Resafe the cr2 to your character library.

She works fine in Poser with the wrong line, but anything else that reads pz3 files will have troubles. Just to let others know who may otherwise be puzzled when her body doesn't show up!

Umm ok is there a way to get her body to reappear?  I had her dhowing up fine then went into the MM and transferred all the morphs and now I gets no body cries patheticaly I am using D/S if that helps.  Wonders if she should do all the morphy things in P5 then move Girl3 to D/S.......

I jsut bought Poser 3 and the book to go with it for less than $100 shipping incl!! big silly grin now to learn how to use the friggin thing puzzled frown I downloaded Blender and Truespace as well so hopefully I should be up and running soon big smile Thanks to all who posted advise for me.
