I discovered yesterday that the breach was not Renderotica at all. So it's a false alarm.

They have a strange (and nearly fear inducing) way of providing you your purchased downloads,  but beyond that, they seem fine. Using a prepaid card for purchasing is probably still preferrable to be on the safe side.

Renderotica is pretty suspect when it comes to placing orders. Just had my credit information compromised after buying something from them today.

Just a heads up.

I researched and found that the recent Surface Pro graphics card update breaks the OpenGL in a way that games and programs are absolutely unrunable. To solve the problem, I downloaded the driver directly from Intel here:

Intel Driver for Windows 7 64

After installation, Surface Pro will still attempt to update the latest "broken" driver, so you need to go into Windows Update on the desktop, right click the ~60MB System Hardware Update, and "Hide Update" to prevent that from happening.

It works fine now! However, it runs extremely hot during renders.The fix also helps other 3D programs such as Second Life run as well... so now there is finally Poser on a tablet, on the go :)
