Might not be exactly the same thing, but this click... wait 1sec ... move happened to me to. I'd click on a body part and had to wait a sec before it moved.
The solution for me was to reset Poser's Launch To... option to factory scene in the General Preferences (Ctrl+K). Maybe it will work for you too Offie.

Probably there is no setting to avoid the Originals.
But if it'll help ease your mind, imagine animating 3,121 frames, with the background being separate from two foreground layers. After a while you're like: meh, originals. Lett-em stay. They actually come in handy to blend between the original, and the denoised version which tends to be too blurry.
Don't look at it as a hindrance, but instead look at it as an unexplored opportunity.

Got a tip from a fellow Poser-ino:
The center-point can be adjusted right after importing the obj and before moving, scaling, or rotating it.

Looks like there is something goofy with this door (an OBJ exported from Maya), because the pivot can be moved just fine on a native Poser prop.

Ain't that the truth! Because as you know, it's easier to judge their heights when they are topless ;)
The Amazonian is stock V4/La Femme height of 6' 4". The redhead is average 18 year old height of 5' 4"
They'll have a jolly good time interacting with each other ;)
Their height was dialed in to precision with Poser's measuring tool.

Poser's measuring tool says otherwise: 6'-4" to be exact. At least V4
