I think the 3d sites have their ebb and flow, just like many things...there are blow-up and from them a new configuration rises bringing new things into the mix. Change can be painful, but can often be for the better :)

I am just plowing through all my old stuff archived to see what I can polish up and put into freestuff when I have the time from work. Goodness knows the 3d community has supplied me with many inspirations and freebies over the years :)

It is very sad to see such talented and giving people in the art community leave this world so suddenly. Joanna had a wonderful talent and her creations are always a joy to work with because such time and effort was put into their creation by her. My condolences to her family and friends she will be missed by many, but I like to think she will live on through the wonderful art she created that people can admire in the galleries and her beautiful store products. Everytime people use her creations in their work....a little bit of Joanna appears in the world and I like to imagine she would be tickled at that :)

If you don't want him as your default icon - you can change him to one you prefer or get rid of the default character all together and just have Poser open to an empty scene.

Thank for the Tutorials - I am in the middle of getting my new system up after the old one died. - lucky I had everything backed up. Not I just need to sort through and decide what I absolutely need and what can be stored for later projects. Leaves a little more room to play with on the drive :) I certainly look forward to going through your tutorials...from the quick read through I have done on two of them, they look great - easy to follow words and the pictures really help make things clear :)

Hmm the only thing I can think of is saving the cr2 figure when you have set the materials and then hacking the code out of that an placing it in a pose.
It certainly has me stumped.

Hi there,

I think the easiest way to make a mat pose is to grab one that for the figure you are working with and replace textures with yours.

Just find the texture name in the pz2 file:

Got to the find/replace option in your editing programs and replace it with the texture you want to go in place of it.

It only takes a little while and it helps you find the parts of the body in the pz2.

Yes I am a Poser user that's why I didn't think the one would matter.

I checked out your character face in your gallery and she is quite pretty...she has a very interesting face with a lot of character. Congrats on getting her to work in one click :)

Great!. Athough now I want to know why my INJ files work without having the 1 after ACTOR. Maybe it's a DS thing.

I use use EditPlus myself and love it to death.  These progams make life so much easier to code than good old notepad :)

Now you have this working you will have to do a render so we can all see what you were working so hard on :)

Just a thought, there aren't any missing or extra or more than one blank line at the end of the file ? I know I have had poses fail for those reasons.

It depends on how much time I have and how lazy I am feeling on whether I use  the Injection Pose builder or edit by hand in a text editor to make the injections once have the character set to how I want them.

I have DS but I hate the interface so I un-installed it, so I am not familiar with how it handles Poser files but it seems to me if the directory structures aren't that different then grabbing the tool package wouldn't be a bad idea. If you can maybe contact the vendor and ask if the package is suitable for use with DS.

It might make a difference but I don't have the numbers in my inj poses and I have seen other character injections that don't use it either.

Hi there,

I am not sure if this helps but when make characters I make an INJ file that uses deltas as references, I put these in  a separate folder from so  I have all delta files together.In the INJ file I have the actor information first and then the readscript information last.  It always works for me.

Heheh.... If you think Bryce 6.1 is unstable,  you should have tried using Bryce 2 for windows...now that was crash central :)

She looks gorgeous...cute yet with Aikos body she actually the possibility of being actually used now :). Is there any way I can get the link so that I can dust the poor Girl off and install her into my runtime and actually use her this time around?
