Quote - Probably a small GUI bug. But it's not important, since you can either use the slider to enter a value, or enter the value yourself with the keyboard.
I dont recognise it as a bug,it's a good feature if users can choose the style to create metanodes.

Thread: Can I create plants from nothing with the Plant editor? | Forum: Vue
Quote - All non E-On/Cornucopia Solid Growth plants are variations on other SG-plants (either bought or distributed with Vue). Nobody outside E-On has access to the tools to create from scratch SG-Plants. Nobody has also the exact recipy of Coke ()
Non SG-plants are done usually with XFrogs; plant packs for XFrogs costs usually so much that if you need more than a handful of them you are better off buying XFrogs. As free alternatives you might check Arbaro and ngPlant whch are nearly all that it is available (plant generation is a field in which there is even less competition than terrain generation).
thanks,helps a lot!LOL

Quote - you can make their texture transparent! but i dont think so in the end, it is relatively basic from memory.
Cornucopia is basically e-on so they have access to the SDK to make solidgrowth plants, I assume that aisle fx has some sort of agreement with them.
but most of the stuff on c3d are created by users..If it's really what you said, then ............what a pity.........

Quote - short answer, no.
But there are some free softwares out there i believe, or if you are feeling wealthy, theres xfrogs or onyx (and im sure some others too!)
Oh,what a pity...Obviosly I can't afford any more software.I just wonder how those plants around the web(like asile FX,cornucopia's shop or so) were created?I'm pretty sure that some of those plants are quite different from those default plants, and were not created by changing those default plants there.

Quote - Can you post a final render of the scene?
I finished it,and changed with a more interesting camera angle.I just want to make it as realistic as I can:D
To MNArtist: you can search the bark map on some pic res website or google with keyword"bark map".I'm sure you will find lots of amazing pictures there. As for me,I get it from a Chinese picture resource website:

Quote - Im pretty sure that happens when you install a demo version of Vue, or when you don't license it, but it looks like an E-on watermark, and on your picture it doesn't look quite like it so im honestly puzzled...
i'd recommend deleting every single vue folder from your computer (even the licenses hidden within the program files folder of windows) and try reinstalling it.
Emmm...I think I found the problem. Not caused by what you guessed, actually I opened the "re-use indirect lighting"and then did some change to the scene, but forgot to re-render the radiosity map...so the old wrong indirect map matched the new scene, caused the strange problem :D
Hope my discovery can help somebody else who also met the same or similar problem:D
