Penny Driver = Penelope Cruz without a doubt. It shares her unique features and she's a Spanish beauty.

They're just showing their appreciation, it's not uncommon. You're not the first person to get uneasy about this though.
If someone wanted to steal your gallery, they wouldn't have to favorite your images first.

Quote - thought to myself...do these people actually know a good piece of art when they see it.....I think not.
Uggh, get over yourself DigitalShinobi. And Prog might not be your cup of tea, but he's an excellent artist.

Keep in mind a lot of sets these days come with premade scenes. Just add water and render, they come prelit, preposed, precamera'd, even prepostworked in some cases. Are you sure it's not the case of just two people using the same premade scene?
Thread: Galleries, today's top rated?? | Forum: Community Center
thefixer: You're getting your charts mixed up. The only chart the critique group stormed was the "favorite artist" list, which counts how many people added you as a favorite artist for that week. Someone can only vote you as a fav artist once, so if that chart were indeed buddy driven, then 20 new people would have to join the clique each week to keep it's members at the top. I know people love their catty conspiracies but in some cases the charts are accurate.

Giana, I think your fears are well founded because there is a truth behind them. I'm not going to go as far as "discounting" the success of critique group artists but I will recognize that it's the product of a artificial system imposed on the main gallery. People in the group haven't earned their hits/comments by appealing thumbnails or developing a fan base but because they signed their names to a list and implicitly agreed to comment on other people's work within the group. Look at next week's "50 most popular artists" list, it'll be dominated by the critique group. Why? Because they signed their names.
I think the critique group is a positive thing and hopefully the emphasis will be on quality critiques, I'm just saying it'll render a lot of stats meaningless (which people shouldn't be concerned about anyway :-)).

Tainted_heart, you threw a tantrum in this very forum a few monthes ago when someone gave their honest opinion of your "Peter Pumpkin" render. And now you're a outspoken advocate for honesty in the galleries? Whatever.
"Why not just move on to the next image without saying anything."
And not to pile on, but I think this is absurd. The problem isn't too much commenting, it's that the comments aren't being spread around. Everyone should strive to comment more.
Thread: hot 20 button? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Ugh, some people in this thread abused that system as much as anybody. Merchants knew how much visibility the hot 20 got, so they'd give their products away free to hot 20 regulars, and they in turn would turn their posts into informercials for the product. I don't really have a problem with this capitalism, but don't turn around and talk to us about Community and Artistic Spirit.

That's a good question, i'm not sure which forum would be best. The result is very cool so you should definitely keep at it. The problem most people have with photocompositing is that they feel like they're being deceived, so maybe continue posting here but just make it very clear when you post that there is photocompositing involved.

Why don't you be upfront that you're mixing in photos with your render instead of making vague remarks about doing "a lot of postwork".

I can't tell who it is yet. I don't think facegen allows their meshes to be redistributed though, freebie or otherwise.
