Looks like the Sapphire 4890 goes for about $200, would this card work for Vue 8 without any problems?

I'm interested in this topic too... just downloaded Vue8 demo to give it a try... launched it, added a generic map, went to add clouds and the program crashed.  Pretty bad to crash within the first minute of trying it out imo.
MacPro 2 dual 3.0 GHz, 4 GB Ram, ATI x1900.
