Thank you for the responsesย - I had assumed that there would be no problems if I produced refits for Antonia, but I prefer to be polite and ask anyway to be sure.
And thanks for the heads-up about possible joint changes for the toes. I'll keep that in mind when I begin fitting - although chances are that this might be resolved before Iย have time to work on Antonia's fitting.
Cheers :o)

Oh wow! ...How could I have been so totally unaware of this figure and its development? (Sorry, I don't frequent the Rendo forums very much, my bad!)
This is an awesome body of work (sorry, pun NOT intended!) by all involved - a real labour of love from what I can see by the quality.
May I have permission to at some stage refit my free footwear to fit her? I'd love to see Antonia get supported by the community, and this would be my own little way of contributing. I'd be happy to refit my Sensible Shoes 2.0 to her, and I could make her a priority refit for my upcoming Bossy Boots 2.0 release.
Congratulations, and thank you for Antonia - She is absolutely stunning.
Cheers!

Thanks dread_siren... I only posted a bit over a day ago (from typing this message), so most likely the entry hasn't even been looked at yet, going by your reply.
I think my entry uploaded in the end - I had a page come up with a message saying something likeย "your entry will be reviewed shortly".... I guess "shortly" could mean a few days ;o)
....
If the mods are reading this... my image has blood depicted; I'm not sure if this contravenes the TOS (no violence is actually shown; just implied). If necessary, my image can be resubmitted without the blood if that is an issue. (Not sure of the boundaries here).
Thanks :o)

Hi :o)
(I'm posting here rather than starting a new thread, since my question is also in regards to the Halloween contest).
I'm just wondering how long it takes (approximately) for submitted entries to be approved / disapproved. Basically, I'm not 100% sure if my browser uploaded my entry correctly or not, or perhaps I might have mucked up during the submission process (my PC was misbehaving at the time).
I'm assuming that the staff involved are very busy and have dozens of other things to attend to as well, so most likely it's just a matter of them having time to process the entries.
Just curious - I'm a newbie at these render contests too.
Cheers :o)
Thread: Is it easier to make flat shoes or something? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
PaganArtist: As you suggested, it seems that high heeled footwear is just more "popular" (or perceived to be) by the people who model them for the community. Flat soled footwear isn't necessarily easier or more difficult to model, just less commonly created.
I've been experimenting with modeling flat soled footwear (the boring type), and have noticed that the zero feet position of figures can vary - Vicki-3 has her feet flat on the ground, whereas Vicki-4's feet are angled in a downward pointing position when zeroed. This can make it a pain to create flat soled footwear designed for fitting to several different figures - the mesh distortion issues where the ankle/feet joint meets when the foot bends can be annoying (especially when Vicki-4's feet are posed in a normal flat-on-the-ground position - there tends to be "scrunching" of mesh details etc).
By all means have a go at modeling the kind of footwear you want, especially if you can't find anything equivalent to suit your needs. And consider releasing them to the community if you are happy enough with the result - you'd be surprised at the response you'll get.
Cheers :)
Thread: Bossy Boots for Vicki-4 | Forum: Freestuff
Just a quick message to say that I've updated the zip file with a bugfix - apparently there were issues with incorrect paths in the boots CR2 file, plus a missing texture (whoops, dunno how I messed up like that).
If anyone finds there are still problems, could they please do me a favour and let me know (I've had over 2300 downloads, and only 2 people have let me know of any problems).
Note: I'm not being ungrateful or anything, I just appreciate being informed of any issues so I can rectify them.
Thanks :)
Thread: FREE Shoes | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
(Sorry, only just discovered this thread)
Ockham: If you're still looking for a saddle shoe, my Sensible Shoe project from many months ago might be suitable:
http://forum.daz3d.com/viewtopic.php?t=52264
Not technically in the same shape of the old '50s style, but perhaps passable. The shoes have separate material zones for the saddle, main shoe etc - just set the colours you want, use the bumpmap and it comes up nice (somebody posted renders of saddle style on page 2 or 3 of the thread). Being parented props, they are easily fitted to most figures besides V3.
Cheers, Headkase
