I'm not at my computer but if memory serves whimsy was the original version and I think I got from Rendo (Aery Soul?). I believe Caprice is a re-release. The morphs should get you pretty close.

Just a shot in the dark, but check the ambiant settings for the materials for the mouth and the cloth. They will cause glow if not set to black/zero.

@ RobynsVeil,
First a quick note to say thanks for all your work on the Pose2Lux.com site. .... and ya know that issue back in July with the cyber-mauraders... well apparently my user name got caught up in the purge (says I'm either blocked or not registered but trying to register with the same username and email tells me I'm already registered). Same username as here if you need to search. No big rush.... would like to follow the bug tracker on the new versions is all. Thanks in advance.

Played a bit more, the compiled versions are generated at the time we run the exporter so that's not it. But like you ayanematrix, I found that the code in BBLuxMat has references to skin and velvet and those features are working for me. But can't see any references to glass in BBLuxMat. ADP are you out there...... ;)

@ ADP, have been playing with version 1.42 and like LatexLuv and ayanematrix have been unable to get the results you posted. Have had a look at the workers folder, is it possible that the compiled versions of PoserLuxExporter_workers and BBLuxMat were not updated in the last package update?

Hey Latexluv only thing I see is your line:
MakeNamedMaterial "Victoria4/2_SkinHead" "string type" ["matte"]
should maybe be:
MakeNamedMaterial "Victoria4/2_SkinHead" "string type" ["mattetranslucent"]
and I believe that the translucence comes from the Kt value which you don't seem
to have in your listing....

@ ice-boy, I'm using the weekly builds found on the luxrender forums. Try this link www.luxrender.net/forum/viewforum.php. You may have to be logged into the forums thou. I have a Win XP system and I'm using the win CVS builds (2nd topic on the forum page in the link). Version SSE2 works fine for me.

The order of results are more or less would I would have guessed. The difference in B and C is probably due to the Q6600. A quad core CPU, a 64 bit OS and a 64 bit renderer should be faster at a given clock speed than a Duo core, all other things being equal. The difference in clock speed of 2.5GHZ over 2.4GHZ is not enough to make the Duo core machine as fast or faster than the Q6600. The 75% increase over using the 32 bit OS is interesting. I'll have to look at going to a 64 bit OS again I guess. Thanks for doing this little comparison.
