So does anyone actually have some good renders done with gamma ? And sorry but I dont mean the crappy 'everything lit at equal intensity' stuff that people keep posting, but stuff with creative, artistic lighting, esp stuff with low/night lighting. Like basicwiz, i'm also an ex and somewhat current photography guy and frankly all the examples (in pretty much all threads i've looked at) look like something a tourist with a mobile phone camera would shoot. If that's what gamma does then yeah i'm also gonna stay away.

Dunno about their 'history' or whatever but frankly that is a pretty crappy outfit. Badly draped, the folds make no sense and it all looks like something a ZBrush newbie would make with the extract tool in 5 mins. If this is an example of their stuff, perhaps they should have taken a longer break.

Looking at your character, the hard part wont be poser (though it may be harder then you expect) but actually getting your 3D character to match the look of your 2D sketch properly. Do you actually need a full 3D character though ? Like will your game camera be rotating around your character in full 3D, or is he just gonna be shown side-on like in the skecth ? Cause if it's the latter, you could get away with just pasting the sketch/drawing on a flat 2D polygon and animating as needed.

IMO you have to find a balance between seams and stretching. Less seams means easier texturing but leads to more stretching which makes for a poorer quality texture. The extreme version of which is of course UVs where each poly is separate and you get a texture that is impossible to work with in a 2D editor but which renders perfect.

Not bad at all. Any chance of seeing that without the texture ? I'm a newbie at poser so I may be totally off base here, but that really seems like most of the work is being done by the texture. Would be cool to see what kind of shading you get without it.

Hi, new here so dunno if this is the right place to ask, but is there anyway to get at Antonia's low(er) rez cage mesh ? I'm assuming there is one cause she looks like a SubD model. I use poser stuff in other apps with SubDs and she will work a lot nicer there without the extra polygon flab. Thanks !
EDIT: To clarify, this is purely for my personal use, I dont intend to do something silly like try and sell her or a modified version or anything like that.
