Thread: New UF tag image | Forum: Fractals
That's a great idea Rick! And I think it's an excellent way to learn about working techniques with a nice single image at a time focus. It's fun and educational, challenging and collaborative!...I also like the way you inserted the images so we can see the progress. WELL DONE!

Thread: Have most of you "settled down with" one program... | Forum: Fractals
Mainly I use UF, MBF, FE and APO But like tresamie, I have every program I could find on my HD and like to skip around because each program has something unique to offer. For example if I feel like "sketching" I use FE but for more finished pieces it's UF all the way...it really does depend on the day.
Thread: Hello from a Apophysis newbie | Forum: Fractals
Nice image! Your best bet is to join the Apophysis mailing list and you can do that from the Apophysis site. I recommend you start an email account from Yahoo or hotmail that is dedicated just for the list as there will be lots of emails....Yahoo just upgraded accounts to 250 MBs. Chris

Thread: I need help with apophysis and electricsheep | Forum: Fractals
Hi Aurell I responded to your IM but I forgot to mention to make sure that the color preset matches the gradient in the window!...otherwise It won't be the gradient you intended...for example if you have a gradient in the window make sure it matches the gradient in the selection box.... You can also adjust the gradient in the post sheep box. Hope that helps, Chris
