Thread: Attention all Renderosity artists!! | Forum: Community Center
"Yes, Renderosity has my permission to use my artwork from my art gallery for promotional use only". Great, and thanks :-) KPK
Thread: Hey lurker | Forum: Fractals
It seems to me as if these kind of behavior and comments are initiated by jealousy and lack of self-confidence. They should simply be ignored. The author of these comments should better provide his artwork in order to show his artistic abilities. Downrating other images and writing irrelevant comments will never lead to what the author likes to get.
Thread: Did you ever express your emotions in a fractal? | Forum: Fractals
Mostly I do not create fractals when I'm in a bad mood (sad, depressive, angry or so). So these emotions can hardly find their way into my creations. What I normally do is working in a calm atmosphere, concentrating without any outside stressing factors disturbing me. I'm not a kind of "emotional painter or creator", I do the work just from an aesthetic viewpoint or to show technical possibilities of a formula. On the other hand, sometimes an image makes me smile or I'm really glad about a creation looks. So I assume there IS an emotional factor inside all the fractals.
Thread: A "wrong" direction? | Forum: Fractals
Yes I see :-)
Thank you all for your encourageing replies.
But it seems as if my wording was not clear enough and led to a little misunderstanding. Especially the
title of the thread was a bit provoking and the part regarding views and comments intended that I was
mainly looking for comments. (OK, to be frank, I LIKE it, to get lots of views and nice comments! :-))
I'm not concerned about my work.
It was more my intention to know what the forum thinks about strong geometric looking images in general.
Do you like or dislike it? Why is it it liked or disliked? Do you think there is the "art aspect" missing in
geometric images?
These kind of questions were in my mind when I wrote to you.
Anyway, your replies gave some interesting insight.
Thank you all :-)

Thread: Is this a Fractal? | Forum: Fractals
If the horse is created with a fractal program, then the answer is YES (and it's an impressive fractal :-)) If it's simply a post processed image of a horse, the answer is NO. Regards, KPK
Thread: FRACTAL FORUM!!!!!!!!!!! *jumping up and down waving hands* | Forum: Community Center
A forum sounds good to me too, but not a separated fractal gallery. As mentioned above by other artists it's my opinion too that sharing the fractal images together with non fractal art makes it more interesting and brings different art types together. We (the fractal artists) received a lot of comments written by non fractal artist and in response, we viewed a lot of their images and galleries and also commented on their art pieces. I find this a very exciting enrichment. KPK
