While I almost always paint the hair in my pics, I do often use props for reference and shadow placement. Thanks for sharing. ')

Great looking weapon, man. My only comment... good lord, the recoil on that thing! Maybe you could model a muzzle brake attachment, or something?

Thread: Getting Used to Wacom | Forum: Photoshop
It took me a good month to six weeks to get used to the stylus and tablet. When I first got it, I had already been doing painting in PS with a mouse for a year. When I first tried drawing with the stylus, I groaned and thought I had made a $99 mistake. So how I got used to it was just to start trying to paint with it, and whenever I got annoyed at not being able to use the stylus how I wanted, I went back to the mouse. Slowly, I began to use the stylus more and more, and now a year later, I can't imagine ever using a mouse with one sensitivity level ever again. I know it feels very funky now, but just stick with it.

An interesting choice in Mostow as director for T3. He's known for avoiding CGI at all costs. Breakdown had no CGI at all, and U-571 had little or none. I'm curious, but also skeptical. The trailes I've seen so far have done nothing for me. And yeah, Linda Hamilton's not in this one. Her character's dead in the film. That's why you see them in the cemetary in parts of the trailer.

I agree with ShadowWind... after giving amnesty to anyone who pirated the software, this is ridiculous.

Thread: A solution to your lighting problems... | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
GI means global illumination. That's a good thing. Looks great Blackhearted! Personally, I don't have lighting problems but I DO take forever to set them up. These look like they'd be great for people who already know what they're doing with lighting as a short cut, and AWESOME for new users or those without much experience with lights. Once I can scrounge up some extra cash, I know what I'll be gettin' next.

Ummmm.. DTHUREGRIF@AOL.com IS an email address. I've been a member of since the new site opened, and with the last incranation as well. I've not had any problems with the site, and few friends I've gotten to sign up since the upgrade haven't had problems either. shrugs
Thread: Big Supermodel Morph Vickie update! | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Nitreug, the way I understand it, morphs made for vicky will not work on SMV, so I don't think so. I agree with Blackhearted. In fact, I send my money off for the REAL SMV yesterday. Got the starter kit so I can have some clothing to go with her. Ever since I saw the mest, I've been wanting the figure, lol.
Thread: Let's talk about post, baby... | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I do a lot of post work. And I had that idea in mind when I first bought poser. But I also have a great deal of respect for people who can do some really amazing work with 'no post'. Eric Westray immediately comes to mind. But I also have a lot of respect for people like picky and voodoo. I look at stuff like that, and just sit in awe. I had the mind set of a painter going in, so I try to get done with the rendering part as fast as I can. When I first started and my post skills pretty much stank, yeah... I would do as much as I could in poser to make the image 'clean'. But now I can fix bad joints, etc in just a few minutes with PS. And for the record, I've drawn since I could hold a pencil and done acrylic, watercolor, oil and airbrush painting as well as pen and ink and few other media. I really like the freedom you have with a digital media. Especially an undo button. points to the two blank keys that once said 'Ctrl' and 'Z' -Kage
