so...um...where is the plan to educate the young Men?! in all of this? Why should only the teen girls go to summer camp? ...unfortunately, society tends to forget it takes two...if you're going to educate the 'right' way, it must be an equal education...just sayin...

hmm...was wondering about that...I had seen a post somewhere the other day about having poser installed in the program folder...thank you hborre...i was already contemplating a move of all my poser things to a different location and doing some major reorganization in general on my laptop...seems like a perfect time...Thanks for the quick reply!!

I was only 11....I played my little 45 single records of Beatles songs everyday...over and over...every format of recording (i.e. vinyl, cassettes, cds, mp3) that has come along (okay besides 8tracks because they were almost obsolete by the time i had my own money to buy stuff) ...I have "Imagine" on all of them...I always wonder how much more could lennon have impacted the music culture...morrison as well...

well, there ya go...this whole thread makes me feel better lol...i thought i was the only one who'd rather spend my free time playing with poser and such...like some of you, i'm past my party days...plus sticking around home I'm always available if my kiddo needs me, I stay out of trouble, and if some of those friends who do still go out need a ride home, I can do that too...and when I do get out, it's taking care of the yard or going to the park with my dogs...work involves roughly 50 other women all day long...with all the mood swings, hot flashes, etc. so ya know...home is nice hehe

for those that mention what it's like telling non-poser/3D/CG people about your hobby...i once likened it to playing with old fashioned paper dolls on the computer and dressing them up...LMBO! it worked though, you could almost see the light bulbs turning on behind the eyes...still, it's good to know i'm not the only one who's a home body :)

um...AVG, Spybot S&D, I use cleanup! alllll the time (great for clearing out those poser caches and such)....just started using Advance System Care (ASC)...all of them are free and/or free limited stuff...oh, and I went to Firefox (which also has the prvt browsing option) years ago...and after reading all these, i might have to give avast a try...i do a lot of reading on the pc world site too and have had no troubles with anything that's been recommended there...of course, my first defense...extreme prudence when surfing  :o)

hi....i'm mel...waves ...my poser addiction has poser addiction....my poser hair addiction has just about every hairstyle since the 1800's (some of which i know no beautician would ever dream of doing)....Vicky has more clothes & make up than I/my child/my future grandchildren (whom i hope never wear skirts that short or tops that lowcut) would wear in a lifetime...Aiko has more elf ears than LOTR...the lights would provide illumination at least into next century (assuming poser lights are ya know, compact fluourescent)...enough poses ( like really how many do I need of vicky leaning on a wall with that pouty come hither look? or the I wanted you to come hither and am super sad because you didn't expression) to fill fashion magazines for a loooong time....am considering a yard sale on all the props that might come in useful someday (but mostly are collecting dust & again, how many mushrooms does one fairy really need in the forest)...but they're still there....just in case...sigh...really we should have our own poser hoarders reality show...

er...um...did someone say free? I can't make my own models (unless crappy abstracts in bryce counts), don't make much for textures (that would be the start a project....something catches the eye, never finish it)...i looooove free stuff for poser and have folders, folders, folders full...most still zipped and waiting....

let's see there used to be a phrase "poor starving artist"....yup that would be somewhat appropriate for all the stuff i actually buy....ya know, a girl can never shop too much....recession is a helpful tool for keeping my spending in check lately...but i think i could have at least sent my kid to college for a year or more....if it weren't for this silly thing called poser addiction....LMBO! one lesson learned, if it's free and has BB on it, it's downloaded & put to use immediately...and i never buy anything anymore if there is a BB solution (i.e. lights, shaders, mats) for it :)
