Okay.  Thank you so much!  I did find something in my Color settings last night that allowed me to change ink percentage from 300% to 240% in the CMYK drop down menu in working spaces, and to change to "working CMYK"  that seemed to do the trick for the whole entire cover, but I never thought of using the curves adjustment.  That's what you get when you learn by experimentation.  I've gone through short tutorials, but not "the whole book", per se.  I REALLY need to do that.

She had a great run and was a giant in a genre normally dominated by men. Or at least it was when she first started writing. Hence the pseudonym. I don't know about you, but I'm raising a glass in her honor this evening. How appropriate that the liquid will be glowing green, instead of the normal, everyday brown.
