I have only found one problem running on XP, my laptop will sometimes have display errors when running Bryce and an IM indicator will pop up, either from AIM or MSN. And the problem will also only occur if I keep the taskbar set to auto-hide. Otherwise, it's fine. And I don't even see that as a Bryce issue, but rather an issue with my laptop. Oh, I'm using XP Pro, by the way. I also found out the hard way that running Bryce on a Win2K Advanced Server can also be......bad...

jval: I agree with you on all your statements except this: >HOWEVER, because it's still in private beta, they CAN'T disclose any >information. Sure they can. It's their program and their beta test. I don't expect the beta testers to say anything but surely at this stage Corel could give us an idea of what we may expect. As a software QA engineer by trade, I couldn't disagree more. Especially in a circumstance where a company has just acquired an already established product like Bryce, it's best to put forth a "No Comment" until it's ready for release. The major truths about software development are A) there will always be bugs, and B) features will always be cut in time to release. Corel has a learning curve that they have to get past first, and they can really only take best guesses at how the final release will look and operate. So the smart move is to say nothing, put people under an NDA, and that way you avoid people getting p.o.ed at you for not delivering what you promised. This way nothing is openly promised, so you don't embarrass yourself and alienate your established user base by not realizing that Feature XYZ just couldn't be released with the rest. That being said, I really hope that they handle this right. Their customer service and support has left a lot to be desired over the years, and I'm really hoping that they've addressed those problems.
