**Congrats!
I have periods where I just delete random images from my gallery. Usually when I've made something aweful and i'm a bad mood about it.
I too sell my work as prints, run my own publishing company and hope to soon have an exhibition of my work in a local museum. So it can be done!
Don't ever give up, no matter how low or rubbish you think your work is.... Somebody will always like it.
If we all liked the same thing it'd be a very boring world.

Thread: Another funny thread about nudity | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
**Hiya all,
I think its all about respecting people and what they do and do not want to see, so i agree with thumbnails not having nudity. However, in regards to mods informing members to put the nudity tag i feel is just silly. If a mod sees an image with nudity and the member forgets to add the tag, why can't the mod just add the tag and then its there, done, no hurt- no fowl.....
shrugs
In regards to Castte's images, some of his stuff is full on nudity, but his work is of a standard I felt was good enough to be published in a magazine i produce. So in regards to this image he posted here, this image is pretty tame! I see no nudity apart from a the ouside of the nipple. To some maybe that's offensive, but not to me.

Thread: Need *real* constructive criticism of my gallery! | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I find that poser pro pack is the best so far. I used P6, and just couldn't see the use in the extra features, since i paint clothe and learning to paint hair. Soo... I went back to pro pack. However i agree, if you wanna get more realistic results try software like bryce or vue. I'm learning vue at the moment, slowly but surely.
I suggest if you cannot get shadows in poser correct and lighting correct, to correct it in photoshop. I tend to find no matter how bad my lighting in poser is, i can correct it in photoshop. However this is down to postwork skills.
Regarding your work, i think its excellent how you have a style of your own and please stick to it. BRAVO to you!
I believe your work can only get better with time and practise... keep at it!

*I agree with the above, bad lighting can totally ruin a perfectly well composed image. Try taking a look at photos, especially studio lighting.
For example try lighting your scene using only three spot lights. Set the map size of the light to 1024, this will allow a smooth light and make it softer and set the shadows to 0.5. Then experiment from there with colours etc. However, personally i tend to do all my lighting one colour, and change the scene colours in postwork.
I hope this helped, feel free to look through my gallery and look at my work, as in most of my peices i only use 2-3 spot lights. Its only occasionally i'll use infinite lighting.

We're sorry to hear you are having problems with the DNL, the reason we went with DNL was to allow people more access to it than the previous .exe of the DWB. It should work fine with the reader plugin installed, double clicking on the file it may ask you to upgarde first as they have released a new version. Once this is installed it should pick up the file association, but if you still have no file association then we suggest you could try and right click on the DNL and then direct it the dbplugin which should be installed on your machine now as you installed the plugin if that is correct.
Can you try this, and let us know how you get on. As we have no problems opening the DNL with the plugin :)
Apologies Anna and Mike
