Thank you a lot .In fact I have to rebuilt materials. Now it works. I was focused on the hardware and didnt took the time to undestand the material tree and nodes of octane even if they rather easy to use. tried to quickly.

I already had the 1.16a3.

I have an error message about the ID and the need to activate the plug but I think it's because it's a demo version. All seems to be OK to import meshes and textures .In the texture tree of octane the indicated parameters are good .The images for textures are in right place but don't render.I can put an alpha map in the transparency for exemple but it dont render. I can change the whole color and tranparency but not use maps .

I give up. I've changed the graphic card, the cuda test works well don't see what I can do now.

I'm dissapointed , I'll upgrade to PP2014 and see later.

Nothing have changed. Where can I get the 1.16a. ?

I would really like to buy octane . I've already changed my graphic card. Don't know what to do ?

I already posted about textures and I bought a 670 gTX 4 and I still have the some pbs with textures.

I Didn't kept my old quatro (my husband took it for his computer) whith the new my  pb is not speed.

No textures and transparency in props and no transparency in clothing .

Processor intel core i7 CPU-12 GO of ram

I would like to buy octane but my hardware is two years old (Intel i7960 with 12 GO of RAM and a quatro 4000 (256 cores))

I tried the demo plug for poser (pro 2012) , it works well, but I miss some textures in any case and don't render if I have too many élements in the scene.

I can render simple scène (I don't ask more, I'll postwork) but at the size of the demo.

Can't change my hardware now, and I wonder what will happen with larger renders. I've read that the registred plug is more powerfull.

Is it true ? Will my configuration be able to handle the software ?

Even if Genesic si a very good idea and concept I returned to Poser and will not renew my PC membership( PC member since 2003).

The reason is the rendertime. Even if the final result seems to be near (in the forums) , Daz is very slow and I'n not sure that reality is a response for that (and it seem that the Poser'version will soon be availiable). Perhaps I don't know how to use DS (I have used it for the early times and bought DS4 advanced but as an alternative) but my poser renders are faster and better.

Now for me I don't like the interface of DS , changes are not easy to learn for the textures and if the software is often updated . The plugs are slowly upgraded (if you don't have to pay  for it).

Poser seems to me more intuitive.

And I don't want to buy again an outfit fo V4 I already own.

Thanks for the explanations. In fact I think the product worth widely the price I paid as I said (good price means for me nice price, but as I'm not fluent in English and the word good was perhaps awkward). I only didn't undestood the way it was noticed.

I'm very happy with with my purchase . I didn't got GND4 before and this Lady is top. Sorry for my post. I undestand how much work and time such a product needs and you did a very good work . I'm grateful to have got it at a low price for the quality
