If your resolution is 1280*1024, I guess you have a lcd monitor. If you go lower than the max resolution on a lcd monitor, things tend to get "smoothed". Maybe you could try to activate "cleartype" in your display properties, but I don't know if it will really help. Anyway... using a resolution of less than 1280 on a lcd will always have two side effects : blurring the picture and distorting it. Maybe you should try to stick to that resolution.

Excellent job !!!! WOW !! Talking about compression : you'll hardly find any better compression than "real". Even the divx codecs are not better, unless you accept to have a much bigger filesize. For those who do not want to use the real player, they can search for "real alternative", a codec that allows you to play real movies with any other player.
Thread: Builders vs. Users | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Let's compare this all to the movie industry :
Poser objects constructors are building the actors...
Poser users are directors...
You need both to obtain a great movie :)

Thread: Just a thought...developing a Poser-like Open Source application | Forum: Poser Technical
Povray and poseray... when it comes to a free powerful render engine, povray is THE answer... I just checked Poseray's site (because I didn't in a very long time) and it is getting very powerful (subdivision smoothing rocks) !

Thread: "Clothifying" breasts in P5? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Maybe this is stupid, but why not export the breast as an obj, tweak it a little, attach it back again at the right place and clothify it ? Would it work ?

Lovely render Lululee :) :) :) Many thanks ! Still some work to do but the colors are quite finished. I'm struggling with some reflections now to add more deepness.

Thread: Did you know Vue 5 can do this?... | Forum: Vue
YESSSS !!!!! Was one of the things I was wondering about !!! When I was using C4D for my renders, I sometimes lit my scenes using luminosity on objects and I was wondering if Vue could do the same !! Thanks for the info :) :) :) :)
Thread: Noob thinking of buying VUE 5 to use with Poser 5 | Forum: Vue
I don't have Vue yet, but I seriously think about buying it... but I think I can answer some of your questions. Vue 5 has not mover 5 included, but it can import still poser files even without it. HDRI is a way of illuminating a scene. It uses a pic with more than the color info to simulate the light coming from a real environement. Only expensive software uses hdri today, Vue5 must be amongst the cheapest. The rendering engine in Vue 5 not only allows the use of HDRI, but uses Global illumination and radiosity. Vue 4 doesn't.
