I thank heaven for this thread, it explained why my PoserPro 2010 kept hanging up and removing Chrome fixed it. :)
I for one am happy he did ask this question here.
Thread: How do you save a character to use in other scenes? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Hmm...
Thank you for the information.
I think I figured it out, it turns out that the "add to library" does exist but only after you create a new library and have it's contents (which is empty at the beginning) selected.
Sad that there is no documentation of this in the User Manual, the Reference Manual or the Tutorial.

The importing of the scene does work though it looks like my best bet is to create a scene with just the models I want and save them for importing purposes.
Any other suggestions are appreciated. :)

Quote - Save the character that you've created to Poser's 'Characters' library, (using the 'plus-sign' at the bottom of the library display) then load it from there into your new scene.
(At least that's the process in P6, -- can't tell you the specifics for P2010's library .)
I am not seeing any "plus-sign" at the bottom of my Character's library.
So I guess they changed it in PoserPro 2010. :p
Thread: Elves | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I use primarily V3, V2, Poser 5 and Dina. I have looked, most consider a elf a shorter human with pointy ears. Elves are supposed to have very chiseled features and very slanted larger eyes. Every time I try to make the eyes I end up with a cross eyed elf. Another point is the "Fairy" body type, lithe, thin but muscular. I guess I need to look around more. Mako.

Very nice, but way too modern for my present needs. If I ever need a modern blade I know where to purchase it. Thanks. :) Mako.

Thank you! A lot of good recommendations here. (As well as how to use the "Point To" command) :-) I was under the impression that the eyes were in synch if the numbers were the same, apperantly I was mistaken. I will look into this with much more detail. I figured the eyes would look somewhat strange with the slant, maybe a less radical slant would help out as well. You are correct, Poser is not just a art, but also a science. In some cases a obsession. :-P Again Thank you! Mako.

Thank you for your quick response georgress. My actual intention was to have her looking beyond the camera, not straight at it. If there is no way to fix it so she can look beyond the camera and still not look stoned, then I guess she will have to look at the camera. How do I have her look at the camera. I am not familiar with the 'point to' command. I tried moving the eyes individually, but that proved to be a disaster. Again any assistance would be greatly apprecieted. Mako.

Yes, I just purchased PhilC's CD and it really opens some doors on modeling clothes and magnets. Mako.

I would be very intrested in this as well. I have a copy of 3ds Max 5, True Space 4, Photoshop and Vue. Anybody know where we can find a good clothing making tutorial? Thank you. Mako.
