I don't have the skills to offer to you (I'm no artist or superhero fan), but, because I've been uploading my old comics to Rendo over the past week, you've peaked my curiosity about your project and I can't quite picture it.
Can you explain how an open source comic book universe would work? Is it that people create environments and characters with 3D models for anyone to use for their own projects? You know, kinda like commercial entertainment and its fan fiction. Or are writers'/creators' stories, using these shared 3D models of environments and characters, loaded into one communal site? Do they add to one communal story? I'm just trying to picture how it will work.
I hope you don't mind me asking, considering I have nothing to offer to the project. Thanks.

Check out my Medium publication, C4 https://medium.com/creative-commons-character-catalog No rules, other than using the rights declarations on Characters. You can make your own comics, games etc. using these characters.Hey. I do the the same kind of thing. I'm actually looking for a superhero universe to write in. I'm also interested in creating a new universe with someone for writing and just having fun. I use Daz, photoshop, and some AI services to help create this universe. I would be interested in talking to you.
