Thread: CRC check failed - Anyone getting this error when trying to unzip a Renderosity | Forum: Community Center
I'm using Firefox 3, and I have intermittent problems with the graphics anomalies, and form fields.
The only consistent form field issue is that the page auto-scrolls up whenever the enter key is used while writing a post. I have had 3 instances of other form field issues. One time last night, the form field was only represented by a white table, no post controls at all. The other two times, it had to do with the attachment field not showing the file that was browsed to, but the file did still upload as it should. The graphics anomalies are random and inconsistent.

Similarly, you could also go to your customer account and re-download an old purchase to a new, empty, folder, and try to unzip it.

I'm also getting graphics issues.

That happens to me too :(
I found no problems with freestuff, but purchases that I downloaded from here today will not extract. Thankfully customer service was very quick and helpful, and got me an alternate zip.
I'm very curious if others have had the same problems in the past few days.

Could you please reset my downloads for this order. It seems that I've exceeded them in my attempts to get a good file, lol

Not that I am aware of. I do have a download status plugin for Firefox that was recently updated.
That should not affect downloads at all as it's only purpose is to provide information to me about them, not do anything to them. That wouldn't explain ythe error from the IE 7 download either, unless IE 7 has some feature I'm unaware of. I'll try disabling the FF plugin and see what happens.

I originally used Firefox 3 when downloading...I tried again, deleted the zip, and redownloaded via IE 7. The error message now reads "Unexpected end of file"
Thread: African American Skin Textures | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Oh! I LOOOOOVE Alec Wek's skin! Deep, deep, dark skin that looks like a mixture of velvet and silk. There was a woman at the polls last November who was checking registrations who had skin like that. It was hard not to stare because she was so beautiful....and how on earth does a straight white woman explain herself then, if caught trying to imagine how to make a texture map out of her #^_^#

Quote - Do u think miki 1 and 2 faces are similar enough, that if I was making a story I could use miki 1 and miki 2 interchangeably depending on which clothes I wanted them to wear? Love esther
The head is the same as far as I can tell. I know yYou can use the same custom character morphs from Miki 1 to Miki 2. Stock morphs I'm not sure about.
I tried it with my Eugenie character and it worked great. It's a shame the textures don't match up, but the UV mapping is so much better on Miki 2.
