::hands cheescake to PhilC:: Really, The dork gets almost no attention....and he doesn't have to be a dork....Posette isn't my idea of eye candy till you load her up with MTs and give her a decent texture and wardrobe. It's the same with the male....Poor P4NM...he really needs some attention. Is there a tutorial for photorealistic skin textures? I can't seem to get it right, and the seams always have huge gaps in them no matter how big I make the template

PS: the ultimate tux would be the cut of the white one only in black, with a white shirt and bowtie. I really dig the Avalon too(white, modernized zoot suit with the watch chain and black fedora ::swoon:: T'ain't nuthin' like a well dressed man. MeeOW

You've probably got one in your closetIt's a button down dress shirt sans pointy collar flaps...it's a casual/dress shirt that you don't wear a tie with, or that you would wear a formal "black/white"tie bow tie with....I'll search around for a pic though. Casey

I think he's great. If your going for a darker skintone though; instead of setting the materials color to white, you can use a very pale, almost white, purple-ish brown. That color seems to multiply with the lights to a more realistic, slightly richer skin tone. Casey

That tux is what comes immediately to mind for me...I need a good taylored short waisted long tailed one for my project. THe P4 tux looks like something from a class of '79 Prom King wannabee >_< Here's my wishlist: The tux as described above A mandarin collar unbuttonable dress shirt A nice modern style suit Sexy Pajamas A tight, super conforming t- shirt (ooh baby) I'm sure there's more, but these are good basics that can be modified with textures, bumps, and transmaps. Just wishfull thinking........ Casey

It's not a cakewalk, but it's not overwhelming either. There are a lot of great tutorials around, and a Poser101 mailing list you can get on at e groups

Paint Sho Pro is not shareware. It is, however, an excellent graphics application at a reasonable price. You can download a fully functioning, time limited, demo from the Jasc website http://www.jasc.com The price for the registered version is about $110.USD and comes with all the goodies and excellent tech support. PSP 6 is the latest version. Jasc is currently running a public beta testing of PSP 7, due to be released this fall. If you buy PSP6 now, your upgrade will be free. THose who already have PSP6 prior to the public beta release can get the upgrade for about $40.USD Casey

Very true. It depends on a number of things; including the artists personal style, and the personality of the character. You've also go hi resolution video game style anime which uses 3d characters. QD's character looks very much like that style. When you bring 2d characters to 3d, you have to make adjustments, and take some artistic licsence in order to make them look semi-realistic....otherwise they just end up looking alien. Casey

Doh! Thanks. When I picked up the P4nw, I wasn't planning on doing anything with the male, but now I have need for him. ::I should've looked there first...before installing all those MTs [...]":: Casey

If you have Poser 4; I suggest going to Bushi's 3d web site. /he has a wonderful P4 nude woman with "Real Eyes" props that he created. It's a layered figure complete with iris, pupil, and cornea. The cornea appears convex the way it's supposed to be. Tip: If you use the extra large verision, render with shadows off. I won't use anything else for character creation now...I just started expirimenting with transplanting the Real Eye prop to the P4 nude man. I think it will work too. Casey Casey
