It's all a bit above my head just yet as I'm brand spanking new at this; but I'll bet it spawns a whole new wardrobe for Posette by this fall from all you talented Posette fashion designers The skirt pictured above would make an excellent choice for experimenting with this technique in an animation....especially if you could add the rustle of petticoats to the soundfile to go along with it. Oh wow...that's too bad. I really need a skirt similar to the "JoJo" skirt. I don't know if you've ever seen the anime series "Sailor Moon", but I'm trying to create Poser characters based on the anime/manga series characters, and I need at the very least a floaty kind of skirt that will blend in with the leotard, or go with the halter top so I can tex/transmap it to look like the seifuku the SM characters wear after transformation. There are a couple of seifuku type things out there but they are too plasticky/cartoonish for my needs. Ultimately, I thought it would be fun to do an online H-Manga. There are some great lemons that would be a blast to illustrate with Poser. If anyone is interested in this type of thing, please let me know. It would be nice to make it a collaberative effort....kinda like a CLAMP of the Poser world. Casey

I'm in the same boat with Uthena here....you folks are speaking a different language. I have a very basic I dea that a cr2 file has something to do with an object, and it has a companion rsr file....but as for what they actually are and what they are made of...what they do, etc....I'm clueless. Oh, I love the way the hair looks, but I don't have a template for it...I suppose I could try asking though huh? Doh! Baka me wouldn't think of doing that the first time. All I want to do is make a realistic texture for it. ::mega mallet falls from the sky and hits me in the head::

Don't feel too dumb Uthena, we all have to start somewhere. I took Diana's responses and mailed them to myself so I can print them out and go through them step by step. That's the only way I'm going to be able to do this. It's kinda like learning a new recipe and you have to keep referring back to the cookbook to make sure you've got it right. It's overwhelming to me too, but I'm pretty sure I can do it...I'll just make sure I work from a copy and not thbe original file. I'm sure you can do it too. Just give yourself a chance.

Are you kidding! I snapped that up the same day they updated It's gorgeous (as usual for them)! I've even colorized copies of the texture in pink, plum, red, green, and blue....It's not long enough for what I want the Fantasy3 hair for though. ( I'm creating characters for an online H-manga. Anyone interested in participating in a project like that? I'm starting with characters based on Sailor Moon, although with the new 9-lives morphs, I might try a hand at Tenchi Muyo ::Ryo-Oki {a living spaceship that looks like a cross between a rabbit and a cat} [sp?] is too cute not to try to make::)
