Ratto, I bought the A1 after a week of CNET surfing.I'm a real beginner at the photography thing.But I love the camera.The only problem my A1 has... is my lack of experience. My favorite feature is the review options.you can review,inlarge,and scroll thru the image looking for problems. and the anti-shake is awsome.I'm not the steadiest of people and believe you me it helps.

My first digi camera was a 2meg and took really good pics (nikon coolpix 800).The first picture I posted here "Bernadette" has blown up to a 17 x 22 and framed for my wifes birthday. The first 7 or so pics are from this camera. check them outif you like.The only thing about some of the 2 meg cams are the limited options.

I like the Night shot idea. Maybe bring a portable light of some sort to reflect off it.Some different angle, tight underneath, or off to one side to cast a shadow. Or direct the light so only some of the sign is lit.
