whats with all the attitude here lately? I ask a simple questions and know it alls jump down my throat and other peoples' Pity "Civilised" isn't "Usuable" here lol. Ok I get it poser 9 is up in the air.

ok thanks for the feedback. But I don't see how the eyelashes look unnatural. That is a winged makeup effect with charcoal. They are not eyelashes.... Also the hair is just a quick w.i.p. part of a hi res texture. The eyes are about 95% as the photos and to me look very natural. Maybe abit too beautiful for human but photorealism is subjective. Not a defined term. I would like other people make a real stab at it eh nruddock? lol
I sound so bitchy don't I haha Don't take offense, I just worked so hard on that skin shader :)

Ok now I have a problem. I only downloaded luxrender and the plugin for poser last night, but the render takes too long. I setup the scene in poser and imported it into luxrender. I put in on linear tone mapping and didn't change anything else. It was a simple portrait so i watched it render. It took so long I decided to go to bed and when I woke up it didn't change very much, mostly loads of dots no texture only the form of the face and it was still rendering. This is about 8 hrs.
Am I doing something wrong? What setting should I use. In poser I used one of BB's lights he included in his Vss shader folder. An indoor one. Nothing else!

wow that looks really good now iuvenis! Well done! Yes Pale green is also in concealors and creams to hide redness in skin so I guess that really is realistic ;)
I would like to try your shader if you are willing to let people test it?
