Thread: Need Direct Eye Contact with Camera in DAZ-Pulling Hair Out!! | Forum: DAZ|Studio
There is a simple solution if I understand you correct.
Select both eyes, then under parameter|all click on the "Point At" button and select the camera you want her to look at.
Hope this helps.

Quote - I just ran a very strange extremely un-scientific test. I ran the same image for 2 minutes, first with CPU only then with GPU acceleration.
CPU only had .86 S/p at 21 kS/s. GPU accel got 3.8 S/p at 102 kS/s.
**But **the CPU only image looked better and was clearer. Why did that happen? I don't normally use GPU accel because I like to play games while a render is running and I never saw much of a difference in speed the few times I tried it, but I can't understand why the image looks so much worse if it's running faster by the numbers.
Yes, it is the same for me. The CPU rendered image looks MUCH better even with a lot less samples. This have been the same for me since the first version of lux that supported it. That is why I don't use GPU accelleration. I'm using an nVidia 580, you?

Quote - Just in case anyone is interested, I've uploaded my zipped V5 push-up morphs (L+R) to my website. Here's the URL:
http://www.erikleeman.com/ZIP/Push-Up_Morph.zip
(I've included the directory path for Windows PC)
Please Note: Although they do work with the standard Genesis female figure, they only work as intended with V5!
I haven't tried installing these .dsf's on any other PC yet, so I really don't know if they will work on yours. If they don't, you can always extract the deltas from them and make your own controls for DAZ Studio.
Question: is there a way to insert newly made morphs into already existing Genesis projects? To my frustration I haven't been able to do that, but maybe that's how it's supposed to work in DAZ Studio?
Cheers!
Erik
Yes, you can do that by selecting your figure (ie. genesis) and then replace it with a new one. When that figure has loaded complete you simply chose undo - you have your original figure back with the new morphs.
Hope that helps.

Quote - I have a couple more questions. Attached is a recent effort. I'm getting a rather glaring and embarassing "poke-through." Her top appears fine in the DS preview but obviously LUX seems to have X-ray vision. How do I fix this? Is this where D-formers come in?
I can't see the attached image !? but from your description I can say you can try with morphs or scaling of the affected area...
...but since the image and render looks fine in DS I believe you have a smoothing modifier on the clothing... you could either set this to interactive or bake the smoothed morph before you call reality... however - do NOT save the scene after you have baked the morphs... do it before so you can go back to that state.
Hope this helps.
