Quote - Â I'm pretty sure Mackis3D meant "contact the maker of the shoe" not the maker of Poser.
If these shoes are working wrong in both Poser and DS it's not likely to be an error of SR1
You could be right. I have tried loading several shoe models from the libraries, and so far they all seem to conform fine exept one particular model. The strange thing is it worked fine with PP2010 prior to SR1.

Quote - Why don't you contact the vendor for an answer?
I posted here as a response in a thread. Rest assured the problem will be reported to SM.
Thank you for your input.

I can confirm xuu4u's observation, same with V4. One has to set the rotate parameters for the shoes foot body part manually to make it fit.
Hm, I wonder if it is possible to uninstall just SR1? Conformers worked fine with the initial release.

What version of poser are you using?
If you have P8 or PP2010, you could try the parameter dependency recorder to link the two morphs.

Do you have the "smooth polygons" setting enabled in Firefly? That one can be a real render-killer with large scenes.
I have noticed that, for some reason, the version of Firefly that ships with Poser 8 seems to have problems when trying to smooth sharp edged, low-rez objects like walls, air-ducts, etc.

It will have to be tested of course, but won’t a reduced bucket size kind of defeat the improvement in speed you gain by multi thread rendering?

Do you guys know how multi thread rendering works? Does a 2 thread render require twice as much ram as a single thread?
I have a similar system and have made the same observations as Tomsde;Â I tried to render a
2500 X 2000 picture of a 150 Mbyte scene, first with 4 threads, then with 2, and Poser crashed to desktop every time. Worked ok with single thread render, and somewhat faster than P6. I am using the 32 bit version of Windows XP, and I think I read somewhere that there isn’t much point in adding ram above 2 Gbyte unless you upgrade to a 64 bit operating system? But Poser is still a 32 bit app, so…?
I think the slow delete process must have something to do with P7’s improved undo functionality; in earlier versions of Poser you couldn’t undo deletes. Poser must store the deleted object in some temporary undo buffer, and that takes time, especially with the dense meshes most people are using these days.
Except for the mentioned problems P7 has been remarkably stable and reliable for me.
