I loved your hair tutorial! I love to airbrush portraits in Photoshop and hair was always a problem for me. Needless to say, I still have a lot to learn, but your tute helped a bunch. The link is the last piece I did. The 300 rez looks much better and you can't really see how well the hair turned out in this 72 rez (well, it's an improvement at least from my last piece)! ThanksThread: option to slices image in photoshop for the web help..... | Forum: Photoshop
I think you are talking about Image Ready and slices. Photoshop 6 has this option. Select the slice tool (it's underneath the magic wand tool) and drag it along your image similar to making selections. You can select parts of your image to have no image (for instance, if you made a frame and you want to etner HTML in the center) Just drag the slice tool to get the slice select tool (sorry, I'm bad with words - similar to how you get the pencil tool under the brush tool). Double click the slice you want and a pop-up will appear. Edit the slice type accordingly. When you've sliced everything out how you want it (you can edit your slices using the slice select tool also), click File > Save for Web... That will pull up Image Ready. You can hit the Output Settings button and manipulate all the little things. When you're done, click Ok and that's it! I hope that helped answer some questions.
