Hi Richard60,
Thank you for sharing this excellent example, plus helpful suggestions regarding how far a car can move at a specific speed. I had been thinking about this but until reading your posting, I didn't know how to devise a solution. So, using these suggestions, I will experiment further, try to get my animation to work better. Thank you very much!

Update: am experimenting with a series of 30 PNG's rendered out from Poser, composing to video in After-Effects. Still getting motion blur at 30 FPS (30 PNG's, rendered in Poser frame-by-frame). Hopefully can solve the motion blur through editing in AE.

Thank you very much, seachnasaigh, for this detailed reply and suggestions. Much appreciated!
Will give these a try, update with results. (May take a while to re-export as PNG's.)
Best Wishes,

(1) Any news about when this new version will be available?
AbaloneLLC posted at 11:29AM Tue, 25 February 2020 - #4380595
Yes!!! Almost ready. A combo LaFemme/LeHomme will be a free upgrade to all current HeadShop users
(2) My current licensed copy of Headshop 12 LaFemme is from https://printahead.net/ (Abalone LLC website). Where will I be able to download the free upgrade?
(3) Will the new upgrade work with my current license number for Headshop 12 LaFemme?

Wonderful! I am familiar with AbaloneLLC having other excellent software from them previously. This is a great tool. Just what I am looking for.

Thank you for mentioning when to expect the patches and where I may be able to find additional information about the adding of runtimes in Poser Pro 11.

Thank you for these suggestions. I would prefer to wait to see if SmithMicro creates a patch.
I searched for Nerd3d but couldn't locate any posts.

Thank you for these suggestions. So far, no success. If I go to the Library tab (where currently, there are 2 items: Poser 11 Content and Download) and click the +, browse either to a folder in my documents called Runtime (where I copied all Poser Pro 2014 runtime contents) or to the Runtime folder in the Program Files (x64) for Poser Pro 2014, add: I get a new library folder, but it is "empty" inside. If I create a new folder (name it P2014), copy Runtime (all runtime contents for Poser Pro 2014) into it, add (as above) the P2014, still only get same "empty" result. So, not sure what I am doing wrong. But cannot get it to work.
Thread: animating background image | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Hi Les,
Unfortunately not very skilled at this. I did manage to get a sample jpeg image into the materials room on the one sided square, and it shows up nicely. Correctly setting up the start finish animation was challenging since the image is currently scaled up too big and it flies by too quickly (will need experimenting).
Adding a walking figure was more challenging. Tried using a Jesse casual figure from P6 but when I tried to scale the figure, it would not scale correctly. So, tried an Alyson casual figure which at least scales OK. But, getting the figure correctly positioned in the walk designer, and on the 'stage,' well...
Simply trying to have a female figure like Jesse casual or Alyson casual walk slowly across a sandy beach for about 20 seconds as a background animation for an eLearning lesson to illustrate a "relaxing" walk across a beach.
I'll keep experimenting.
Again, much thanks for your help.
Kind Regards,

Hi Les,
Thanks again. These are impressive! I hope I can replicate it. (Will "roll up my sleeves" and dive in, tomorrow.)

Hi Les,
Thank you for these detailed instructions. I'll try. Learning a lot in the process. :)
