I thought I did. Ulead is a PC program so I can't use it. I downloaded the Carrara 3 demo and don't see an option where I can morph. Just checking if anyone knew off hand of anything that will allow text to morph into another word.

I do have FCP 4 but now I'm looking for a program that does 3D text morphing/changing. I've downloaded Carrara 3 to test out but don't see a huge difference for what I need to do which is animated text. Perhaps someone could let me know about the features?

Well guys, I've tested it out and it works. Thanks so much for your help!!! It works within Carrara Basics 3D and within Final Cut Pro. The only drawback to using it in Carrara Basics is that you lose the audio when rendering, unless I'm doing something wrong. In FCP I can move the logo around and reshape the size through out the video. I'm very happy! Now I just need to decide if I need to upgrade my 3D program. Is there a trial version I could test out?

What is a smarmy logo and global illumination? And when does Studio 4 come out?

Wow thanks for that info! I'm at work now so I will try that tonight. However if it loses video quality then I may need a way to export the 3D image to bring it into Final Cut Pro. And I would imagine I lose the audio of my quicktime movie bringing it into 3D Basics. BTW- What is spline modeler and what does it do? I never used it. Perhaps someone can make a good pitch as to why I need to upgrade. I'm not looking into making a lot of animation. My main purpose is for animated text and logos. And does the upgrade version give everything you need? I just heard today about "Boris Red" and that looked amazing yet cost a lot!

Someone just now told me I could put my images from 3D Basics into FCP and put it over video by using the Premultiplied Alpha Channel in FCP. Anyone know what this means? I'm lost.

Can Carrara 3 put animated images over video such as quicktime video? I can't find anything that says it does. And have you heard of "Boris Red"? What are your thoughts on it?
