Used to have CRT's and would never even consider an LCD...that was until I had my CRT replaced at work...I now work on a 21" widescreen DELL and its and incrediblle piece of kit. Crisp clear picture, no problems with viewing angle. Loved it so much that I bought myself one for home and would never go back to CRT.
Another thing I have noticed since using LCD screens, no more sore eyes and headaches.

I've had the same problem with both Poser 4 PP and Poser 5, I found that it was a problem with the camera...using a still camera everything was fine but the moment I animated it, I had the flashing Shadows. I found that it seemed worse on low poly models. Sorry but I don't have an answer to solving the problem with animated camera's...I wish I had. SX200

Coming to London you have to see "The London Dungeon" near Tower Bridge, its really creepy filled with all kinds of wax work horrors. Its terrible to see how we treated each only a few years ago! Hamleys is still there you'll be pleased to know, as is London Zoo. If you haven't been to an Imax theatre you should go to the one in london, I saw the second installment of the Matrix there and it was mind blowing to see it on such a large screen and the sound well...let's just say it was fantastic. Anyway what ever you decide to do I hope both you and your family have a wonderful time, I'll cross my fingers that the weather stays good for you. Cheers SX200
