-AntoninaTiger : no, it happens with everything I can load. Even a simple box prop will appear the same. Nothing is mis-spelled here; it happens after fresh installation when Poser loads its default fiure at start up.

Teyon : thanks for your message, it sounded good when I read. But after doing so, nothing new happened. The problem is unsolved.

Yes, paths are correct for any item or scene I load . Even Poser's props appear like that inside the window.

A similar problem : I've been working with Poser4 for years, I thought I knew all the problems related to it. I also use P6. I made a new clean install of Poser4 on a new computer (3Mb RAM, Pentium D 3Ghz, nVidia 7900GT 512 Mb RAM ). While P6 performs well, as usual, Poser 4 (updated version, of course) loads well when launched BUT I can't see nothing inside the working window of the program. I can see the countour lines of the models I load when I move the mouse cursor over them but they are totally transparent. I uninstalled a couple of times, reinstalled, nothing doing. All my drivers are up to date, the machine is new, no virus, no conflict of any kind, so what can it be ? I like working with P4 in the first place because it is faster for posing and testing morphs etc .... What can cause models or objects not to appear inside the working window ?
