Nope it's on XP w/ SP2 and I have tried to uninstall it and reinstall it... I it keeps happening...

I haven't used the body studio I don't believe... Maya will except *.obj files but when I import them into the program it doesn't bring the texture files. 

When you ask if the textures are procedural, can you explain what you mean by that?

Thanks Conniekat8. I have that book. I will have to take a look at it during work tomorrow... I have a couple of other poser books as well... If all else fails, read the manual. ..::LOL::.. So, I will read all of the information that I possibily can in the books.... Thanks for the assistance everyone...

I worked with Hex a little bit during lunch as well... and didn't find it to my tastes... Maybe I will try to learn how to make cloth in both... Then from that aspect I can determine which one would be better...

Alright thanks... I will get the book tonight... I work at an IT job where I sit around and do nothing for 36 hours a week. So I figure I will make my time worth wild tomorrow... I think I am going to work on the Clothes tutorials first. Once I get those down I will be working hard core on the character creation... I started to mess around with Carrarra v5 during my lunch at work and I think I am going to like that program. It seems kind of easy to get adjusted to after working with Maya v8.5 for a little while... Not too bad of a program..

I see that there is the book, "secrets of figure creation" for Poser 5. Does it apply to Poser 7 files as well.. I can go and get this book today... But I want to make sure I am getting a book that will benefit me...  

Now those are some good tutorials, I will have to work on them tomorrow. Now does anyone know a real good way to work on creating my own character? What things do I need to be looking for and where should I start?

I don't have the clothing designer... I do have a lot of 3D programs (Maya v8.5 Unlimited, 3D Studio Max v9.0, Lightwave v9.0, Blender 3D, ZBrush v3, Photoshop CS3, Illustrator CS3). Based on that information what would be my next step?

I own Hexagon, and Carrara... What would be the next step...
