Thank goodness! Thanks for the quick replies! I wasn't looking forward to moving all that stuff.

I bought Poser 5 a while back and just haven't installed it because I'm scared to death of it. I know. Huge waste of money. I got the Curious Labs newsleter the other day too. Guess this means I need to ggo ahead and install 5 so I don't get such a big shock when I upgrade to 6. :-)

I agree with you zippy about going to someone's site via the poste link. That is usually the first thing I do. Ah...That explains it. Now that changes my whole perspective on this issue. Yes, that has changed since I last updated my URLs. I didn't realize that everything goes back into pending for approval all over again. Goodness! That makes perfect sense.I now understand why I keep seeing reposts! Thanks Karen for stepping in and clearing that up. I hope I didn't step on anyone's toes with this one.

Yes. As I mentioned above, you can update the host link. Just go to your own member page and edit that freebie in your freebie section.I did it when I changed hosts a while back so I wouldn't have to repost.

Hmmm...Good advise. I've managed to group all my architectural props together. Surprisingly enough, it's easy to tell what goes with what, despite all the different styles. The more familiar I get with the file system, the easier it is to more things around.

Boobie, this is great!!! Thanks for the insight! Will PBoost let me move files around too? So that's why I have the PBoost icon that says "You are now ready to switch banks." in Poser 4. Ah ha! I have Poser 5 but I haven't installed it. That's right. It's just sitting there staring at me. I'm kinda afraid to use it. I'm haven't even gotten the bare essentials of Poser 4 down yet so I figured I'd wait until I have mastered a bit more of Poser 4 before moving on. I have played with the Daz Studio application. It seems more like the 3D apps I use to model with in the first place. I generally don't do many people, because I love architecture and wanted to develop buildings for use with Bryce and Poser. Somehow, I've gotten hooked on playing with the people too. Imagine that!

Back ups are one thing I have. I burn off copies of all the files I load. Hmmm...starting over might not be a bad idea!

LOL! I should probably have a category for lipstick, one for eyes, etc. I'm just getting into the hang of reorganizing my files to make them easier to use. Unfortunately, I have a ton of freebies loaded as well as all the stuff I've bought so I have my work cut out for me. If you folks want to offer some suggestions on how you set up your own folder systems, I'm all ears!

I have PBoost but don't know how to use it or at least I can't figure out how to move files around in it. I guess it is time I learned. :)

It's P4.There are 1600+ files in that folder. I double checked to make sure that each .pz2 has a .rsr and it does. Their are no pngs. Everything else I've moved in other folders has shown up just fine. Is there a limit to the number of files I can have in a folder? I know Poser is funny about that kind of stuff.
