Thank you so much. I appreciate it! And to clarify, although there's nothing wrong with explicit posing, I was more hoping for tender couple moments.

I think you are getting too upset. I mean, I don't believe the moderators are paid staff but volunteers. And honestly, I never even noticed that there were banners  in the galleries. But I only submitted two banners to your thirty or so, so I can understand your frustration.

Quote - I thought banners closed March 13th? Over 2 weeks ago.
Seems like a rather long lead time to get these Banners into place. Or it just low on the radar right now?
I imagine it's due to the poor turnout for the contest. Just two people supplied entries, yourself and me.

Aha! I did some looking and ali has a few retro type props and HR-117 is a beehive. Also HR-121 has kind of a nice retro feel to it. As does HR-119 and HR-088.

I could have sworn I saw a beehive prop for sale but I can't recall who made it. Or maybe I'm just old and my memory is faulty, lol.

I just wanted to throw my two cents in here as well...I would be on board and willing (as well as able) to buy props like those described here. Enough of the clothing that looks like a trashy teenager would wear.

Quote - > Quote - Anyone know of a good asymmetrical bob style hair for sale here or elsewhere? I'm running into a deadend. Need something that's short on one side and much longer on the other.
I highly recommend Hollow Sin Hair by Outoftouch

I'm actually going to buy that because I like the look but it's not quite as long as I was hoping to find. I wanted something along the lines of this:

Any suggestions on whether something exists that is similar? Thanks for previous suggestion.

Nobody knows? I have ideas for the other categories but not sure if it's allowed since the rules are a little vague (to me anyway). Don't want to spend time on other banners that might not meet the criteria.

I'm a little confused. I entered a banner for the forum that said, "DAZ Studio Forum" but we can submit entries for other galleries? So I could make a banner that says "Daz Studio People", or "DAZ Studio Sports" or any other subcategory listed under the DAZ Studio section of the galleries? Or do they all have to say "DAZ Studio Forum" only?

You guys are fabulous! I'm going to play with those techniques this weekend. Extremely useful tips and suggestions.

Quote - The other option is to use pwCatch on the shadow-casting object, set to cast shadows and transparent, with the thing you want visible present but set not to cast shadows.
Oh I like the sound of that. The Marketplace search doesn't yield any return for "pwCatch" though. Where do I find that? It's a plugin?
Once again, I appreciate your and the other responders help very much. Thank you.

My problem is that I can't have what's casting the shadow in the scene at all so getting a realistic result is problematic.
Thread: Shadow help please | Forum: DAZ|Studio
An example would be for instance, a housecat would show in the finished render but it's shadow would be that of a lion. Or say a regular hand in the render casting the shadow of a claw. Is that possible?
