Very nice variation in the colors and texture. Beautiful maps! I'd buy this one over the DAZ maps. :)

snap I wanted green! Fine, I'll settle on purple, since pink is already taken by Mattel. :) On that note, it's bedtime.
Thread: Upcoming product and a CONTEST..! | Forum: MarketPlace Showcase
I knew I would kick myself on this contest, and I definitely would have guessed it on your hint (sexy robots--too easy). No way I would have been fast enough though--that's one of the downsides of living in the west as we're one of the last timezones awake. laugh Congratz to the winners. :)

Well, I've spent waaaaay too much of this day looking, so I'm going to guess. Is it Alberto Vargas? Now I must get some dinner... :)
Thread: Simple, fun, beautiful | Forum: MarketPlace Showcase
Eowyn, these are beautiful effects! :) What a great idea making them into a set of actions. I use actions all the time because they make repetitive PS steps much easier. As Queri pointed out, I would apply the effects to a duplicate image to get more control over the image. Copy > merged is so incredibly handy. :)

Thread: The Great House is finished Here is your chance to WIN it for FREE | Forum: MarketPlace Showcase
Thanks a bunch Sprinter, for the contest and the fun! It's a nice house, and I'm looking forward to playing with it. :)My apologies to others. I thought you had to answer both questions to win the prize. Anyway, good luck to everyone! :)

This is absolutely gorgeous, and the items included are really nice! There's 50 different items. Very beautiful indeed! My favorites are the wall cupboards! :) And let's see, I'm guessing 25-30 windows? And 15-20 doors? My own house has 10, and we have 4 bedrooms, so I imagine this house probably has double that many bedrooms. Just some wild guesses. Beautiful work! :) --TriTeq

And still more entries for today-- * Ouzo, a colorless Greek anise-flavored liquor, frequently done as shots. A play on "uzi" * Metaxa, a famouse Greek brandy. I like the sound of the name, as in they "met axe" * El Diablo, the devil in Spanish. * Amontillado, as in "The Cask of Amontillado" from the Edgar Allen Poe story. And a drink recipe-- T.K.O. 1/3 oz Tequila 1/3 oz Ouzo 1/3 oz Kahlua Pour into shotglass, shoot, enjoy. :) I've not tried this.

And finally -- * Liquate, an anagram of Tequila. Also Liquidate, Liquator, Liquidator. Liquate means to "cause a more fusible substance to separate out of a combination or mixture by applying heat, as it in liquate lead from its ore." * Quilate, another anagram; translates as carat from Spanish. It's not as sexy as Liquate. * Black Wasp I'm done for the day. :)

A few others-- * Aztec, Aztecan, Azteq. * Aztech, Aztecnician (keeps with combined Mexican culture plus corporate theme laugh). * Cortes or Cortez (for the Spanish explorer that conquered the Aztec empire). * Tecate * Peyote, Mescaline. Both hallucinogens from the desert. * Hemlock, Arsenic.
