Thread: Does Carrara Have Special Features For Creating DAZ Character Clothes? | Forum: Carrara
True, its not best for all clothing situations. I doubt it can do hardbody simulations such as helmets or boots (not sure if you want to drape those, well maybe long boots LOL)
This is just a way of getting basic design of your 3D creation into other apps for refining. sorry if i misunderstood the question.

With all due respect, actually there is.
Grab Marvelous Design 2. With this you can easily make real world clothing, export them and manipulate them in Carrara or Studio (thru rigging)

Thread: How do I make fluid in a glass? | Forum: Carrara
With this guide you should be able to build realistic lookiing liquid in most containers. The key is to offset the liquid so that it appears inside the glass and not as a part of the glass if you want a thick glass effect.
Notice by using different setting on the liquid the whiskey appears contained by the glass.

Thread: C8 Pro and making Normal Maps | Forum: Carrara
Here is one I use for Normal Maps. ShaderMap Pro There are 2 versions FREE and Paid.
There is also a CLI option to that you can use to convert several maps in a batch process.
You can even load your own model to use within the program and see the results prior to exporting the normal, displacement, AO and specular maps
