I'm using M4 and V4 in Poser 11 and Poser 12 without any issues.
I originally ran the installer for M4, V4, and the morph packs to install into my Poser Pro 2012\Runtime folder. (I had been using Poser Pro 2012, where M4 and V4 worked fine.) Then in P11 and P12, I added the Poser Pro 2012\Runtime folder to my libraries, and everything worked fine there also.
So I think the bottom line is that to you need to run all of the original installers to make sure every supporting file is in the correct place. Copying files seems like a good idea, but you never know where a supporting file may be hidden.

Thread: Looking to commission a swimsuit model for V2 | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I found an artist to make the swimsuit model, so this project is now closed.

USS Enterprise, NCC-1701-E (Star Trek: First Contact): Poser (Firefly), Poser (Superfly), and DAZ Studio (at the same link)
Poser 12 Superfly version by NobbyC.
The next ships coming soon are the USS Reliant (Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan), USS Norway, and the NX-01 Enterprise.
(The Borg Cube model was too big and it crashed UV Mapper, so I won't be converting it.)
These models were made by Marc Bell and converted with his permission.

@ghostship2 Those are great images!
I'm working with an artist named NobbyC on the Enterprise E, but I may need some help creating Superfly materials for my interior sets.

Thanks for the ideas! I knew I saw that !Guide file before, but I couldn't remember where it was.
I give these a try and see what happens.

Thread: Need help rigging an fbx model in P12 | Forum: Poser 12
Thanks for that advice. I posted this question in the Poser group at Facebook and one suggestion was to look for an Autodesk fbx conversion program and use that to change the version and rigging of the fbx file. I may give that a try next.

Thread: Poser World and Vanishing Point | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Yes, the news is true.
And, as soon as we organize everything, we'll be bringing many of these models to Renderosity.
We haven't decided what to do about previous purchases made at PoserWorld. The agreement was for the products, so we don't have access to any customer information, which means we have no way to verify a purchase. For now, it's best to download to your previous purchases from PoserWorld before it closes.

We're currently testing it for use in DAZ and we'll release that version when it's ready, For now, it only works in Smith Micro. It may work in e-frontier, but we haven't fully tested it yet. In theory, it should work fine in Curious Labs since there's no weight mapping, but that software is a little too old to support.

Thread: Need help rigging facial morphs on a figure | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
The lips aren't separate parts since they don't need to be.
In theory, the morphs should open and close the lips on the new figure like they do on the original figure. The original figure was designed for use in Poser 5, so P11 handles shouldn't be needed, but I'll take a look at that idea.

The Vanishing Point team have been making mech robots for the past 10 years. In fact, we released our Sentinel Mech in fbx format a last month and the Hawkslcaw Robot Mech for DAZ Studio before that.
The Sentinel Robot Mech (for Poser) was released back in 2010 and was used as part of a video game in the 2012 movie Rock Jocks.
Anyway, I see that mrsparky has already taken a shot at some of the parts... and he's the artist behind the textures on most of our robot mechs.
Send me a message if you'd like another model and I'll give you a time and price quote.

Although the model looks nice, I'd like to offer a word of warning: Ford Motors has an exclusive agreement with TurboSquid for the exclusive distribution of their digital models. So you (or Renderosity) may get a takedown notice at some point. Ford Motor Company Announces TurboSquid as Official 3D Asset Partner

Thread: Need help rigging conforming clothing for V4 | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I tried adjusting the Outer Mat Sphere and that didn't make a difference. And I've never needed to use JCM's on clothing before, but then again, the issue might be with the mesh and a JCM might be needed.
I gave a copy of the dress to Tony Vilters earlier today so let's see what he thinks.

Be honest, at some point you thought "this can't be anywhere near as complicated as modeling cars"
Cars and aircraft are simple compared to clothing since cars don't have to conform to a human figure... though that might be an interesting model.
Thanks for the suggestion about using the Magnetize Clothing poses. I deleted them a long time ago because I never thought I'd use them, but luckily I still had the V4 Base installer file.
I tried applying all of the 10 Magnetize Clothing poses and none of them worked- the mesh still breaks around the shoulder area.
