So we are still in the situation that we require a third party fix to make a second party fix to the short comings of Poser actually work.Had to quote myself:

You may download and save the script into the folder with the other scripts Poser delivers (..\Runtime\Python\poserScripts\ScriptsMenu).Regarding EZSkin (for all who don't want to change the script on their own):
Download the following script (one-liner) and run it with Poser. It will change the information delivered from AppVersion() into something useable. It works for the current session only. After closing Poser you have to run the script again.
Then you can select this script from Poser Scripts menu.or
Run the script directly from Posers menu: File -> Run Python Script...

Thanks for the script. Real time saver.Graytail posted at 1:39 PM Fri, 29 October 2021 - #4429572
Here you are: drop this code in a python file and hook it to Poser's Python menu.2nd world, I've just tried the unimesh thing on the penthouse and yeah, it seems to be working. After loading the livingroom pre-made room and setting all the figures it added to unimesh its still in colour. Sure beats going through every item and turning on the light emitter ^_^
Anyone know of a script to turn on unimesh for all objects in a scene? Some of the sets I've built have a -lot- of figures in them and its going to be very time consuming changing them over manually
c = 0
for fig in poser.Scene().Figures():
  if fig.SkinType() != 3:
    c = c + 1
    fig.SetSkinType(3)poser.DialogSimple.MessageBox("Done.\n{} figures converted".format(c))
Sorry but with the new interface, I still don't know how to present unformatted code, so beware with the lines and the indentation, it should look like this:Oh and be patient after the script has run: I've tested with a scene containing 64 figures, and I had to wait for 10-15 seconds (Poser looked as if it was dead), I suppose that it depends on the power of the computer

Microsoft Edge downloaded the files but I then got a massage stating ' install Poser 12 was blocked as I could harm your device'. Moving to Google Chrome allowed the download and install.
When that happens you can click the download button then the three dots and chose KEEP download anyways.

Well good news install/uninstall worked without affecting 11. Bad news couldn't even try the trial version as the product registrations box required an non existent serial number.

Load the Trial first , use it for the Period , it does not make any difference you can already get used to the features arrange your surface etc at the end of the period you can decide weather to buy or not <----- Best choice
So far from this forum I'm getting the impression that 12 isn't worth it at any price. Has anyone installed then uninstalled trial 12? I'm hesitant to install and risk damaging/losing 11 and have to do complete reinstall.
If you Install Poser 12 trial and then later decide to remove it it will not really damage your Poser 11 Install , the only thing you need to be aware of is that the file formats have been assigned to Poser 12 in the registry removing Poser 12 will let the computer think that there is no Poser on the machine and make Poser 11 sort of Portable.
To fix this after uninstall of the trial just run the latest update of Poser 11 again this will reassign the File formats to the registry.

Be interesting to see what happens when Star Trek: Picard starts streaming. I was never a fan of TNG, so I'm still not tempted to subscribe, but I bet others will.
Picard, Spock, Janeway, Sisko and Adama (Edward James Olmos) would be my favorite captains in order. I'll be watching what is certain to be a darker Picard.
Spock???? Really? I hope you meant Kirk and also meant to put him first. :)
