Oh, this may be a deal breaker. Does Shade 7 Standard edition need the .obj files smoothed with Bryce edit feature?

Thanks for your interest in my question. I'll be more specific. I purchased Oxygen Object Generator a while ago and the .obj files that it generates don't have smooth curves and the textures that are applied look somewhat cartoonish while same texture looks much more realisitic in Bryce generated objects. This problem may be unique to this Oxygen program, but sample images for the Oxygen don't get much better than the ones shown. The Shader demo doesn't allow me to export in obj, so I cannot tell how well it works.
