Yes I think I got a solution, I tried the sphere, and tried the Sphere, and tried the sphere. However I noticed, I had no trouble with any objects I made in Rhino, so I made a simple Sphere in Rhino and exported it, imported it into bryce and the rotation now works just fine I tried another Bryce Sphere and got same odd results, but the Imported Rhino Sphere works, I dunno must just be an odd quirk. Thanks guys

Thanks All for the comments, lsstrout - Actually I have never been able to drive one, yet anyhow. but they race them up here, there are all kinds, of them in different classes, some the people right on the outside. Nevermore - Actually it didn't take as long as I thought it was going to, roughly 2 weeks for everything including textures and UV mapping it.

Yes thanks guys thats exactly everything I am after, and yeah an ortho view. As far as why I want to do that is because I am really a programmer for a living, I play with 3d stuff for fun and I have some freedom on the next project so i am rendering and modeling the entire user interface then will use the images and stuff as buttons in the program. however I need the other view to render so I can render larger buttons and windows without loosing the edges of some objects do to the perspective. As sopme f these windows will need to be rendered at a minimum of 800 X 600 then I have to go in and crop out the pieces I need and so on. Thanks again

Illinois!! You hick you, us people from Indiana ain't no hicks. Wow what an interesting thread. You know constructive critisism is a good thing but helping them out rather than just saying its crap would go a long ways. Now there is art I like and I don't like someone up above mentioned picaso and other famous artist I really don't like any of the older oil paintings, I realise they are worth a lot of money, but not to me. Because I personally do not like the style. I am not going to criticise thier work because I do not like it. As far as the 2 pics I like the lord of the rings one much better. However I am not all that into Sci-Fi scenes. It is a personal choice. Same with the people that do the super hero images, I personaly do not like them. I do not think that now if someone asked me to critique it I could do so only half heartedly. Now there are artists out there that I can sit back and look at every single detail of their pic over an over again. Toxic Angel is an excellent artist I enjoy looking at his artwork. However he has some scenes he does that I don't like, it is not that the quality of the art is not there because it is, it is the fact I just do not like the subject. In fact there is only one artist that I can look through his entire gallery and like the subject of every single image. I can't explain why, maybe it is the hick in me, but I love hobbit's gallery. It is more of a traditional art some fantasy some reality. Some of his pictures and stories along with his pictures I feel like I can go to those places. Art is different as far as what people like for each person. however I am not going to condemn your art because it doesn't grab me the way hobbit's does, in fact I very seriously doubt any space scene could grab me that way. http://www.renderosity.com/gallery.ez?ByArtist=Y&Artist=hobbit

While I agree with some of the things there are reasons for others you are not aware of or not thinking about. >Do put your textures in textures/yourname This helps me find things. >Do put your geometries in /geometries/yourname for the same reason Ok, not everyone knows how to organize thier stuff the way you do. In fact the majority don't. So if everyone names something the same thing for example supposed they name the folder and prop something like this RuntimeGeometriesDAZPeoplevicky then you got your vick model overwritten. I think that would piss you off more. When you name all the folders the same thing that can happen and I have seen it happen, i dont remember which prop it was from the free stuff but it would have overwritten something i already had. was something like swordssword.obj way too common Now you think someone that has put out thier work out there for free really want to sign on rosity and then walk a several hundred people through trying to fix it. Next if they do not make it simple for people to install they are going to get again 100 messages from people asking them how to install it or how to use it. First rule in making anything for the public be it a program or a simple prop is make it as easy as you can for the dumbest person you can think of. Everything else yeah I have seen those problems but you know I don't bitch about them. First off the stuff is free. and yes some of the stuff out there takes hours to do. These people giving away free stuff are giving you hours out of thier life so you do not have to spend hours doing it yourself or it is somethign your not good at. An example is the Tower construction kit. I know very well that took him a month + to make it of all his free time. he put it out there for free, No charge, and still some people bitch. You can always just go buy everything from Daz or build it yourself.

Dude, that pretty good, I enjoyed it at least. The detail that went into that is amazing, even the reflections on the car as it drives along the city. The Dancers are cool too, sometimes both feet would slide at the same time and the character wouldn't move, where I think if they would have slid on one foot and thier bodies moved then that would have been a little more realistic in that part but honestly I think I am being to critical myself. However thats really the only flaw I can see and I actually watched it a couple times. Nice play on the shadows and sun setting, but I really liked the car when it was cruising down the road in the city. The reflection mapping on it was awesome. Just curious how long did it take you to put all that together? I mean thats a 5 minute video and a lot of rendering time in there.

I have been developing site for years and yeah the HTML is a pain across browsers that do not support things. Definately run through a validator but there are some things that netscape and other browsers just can not do. I didn;t bother to go to your site with anything other than IE and well I got to tell you. It looks damn good. Very well organized and easy to navigate, Fast as hell too. The look and feel of the site when you go in there is excellent. Good stuff.

Got pop ups? Was going to go look but not if you got pop ups. I cant wait for IE 7 Pop ups disabled unless you specifically give the page permission to use them. Opera and Netscape are doing this now with thier newest releases. But I will wait for IE.

The Rhino forum does a beginer, moderate, and advanced. challenge monthly. You can go there and take a look if you want but the just of it is the the beginer one is pretty easy Like say for a Bryce a Mountain Range, Something pretty easy. Something a beginer would want to and need to improve on no imports, no postwork, I think they would get a lot of feedback and improvement tips then. I cant think of a Moderate, but maybe something that require some basic modeling some latices, slightly tougher stuff Maybe some imports some postwork. Then Advanced, Bah well we could go hog wild with modeling, imports, what ever. As far as how do you know who a beginer is, same way they know in the rhino forum, simply do what you want to do. What you think will challenge you the most. Nothing really but honesty will save you here, in Rhino same as here it is to show how good you can do in the range you think you are. I mean we dont win any real prizes here. I really doubt a begining challenge will be that appealing to an advanced user.
