I find it amusing how some people think doing things the hard way is the best. Maybe for them, but if a person goes into graphics professionally, the boss wants it done fastest way possible... and that means every shortcut known to make the deadline, or before. As they say, "time is money" in this business. I'm not in it professionally, but my friend is. This is how I get my info ;-)

Actually, it has quite some appeal to it... and I do believe you harbor some talent there as an artist. All you have to do is develop it, and that only takes a lot of hard work. :-)

I'm Ryan. Some can sure dish it out, but they can't take it when it comes back to them. I agree with xminus (Evan). Just remember ocddoug was one of those who started all of this. You can't expect to start flinging mud (or in this case, accusations) at someone and not expect some back.

I have been watching this for a while now, and it's time to speak up. It seems to me we aren't allowed to vote for any illustration unless it shows only technical ability. Artistic ability means nothing here. Well, I have news for you, I'm only voting for the artistically sound illustrations. It says "the artist's community" at the top of the page! Unless they want to change the name of it to something else. I guess if you happen to have a grudge against somebody on Renderosity, all you have to do is vote for them, and then they will get roasted on the Bryce Forum when their "technically imperfect" (in your view) image shows up on the Hot20. What a farce.

I have both, a PC with Windoze 98 se and a Mac OS X - much prefer the Mac. ZoneAlarm is great on the PC machine, and have used that one for a few years. I have NetBarrier on the Mac and it works just as well as the ZoneAlarm. Good luck all with getting your 'puters up-to-date and safer for surfing.
