WHILE YOUR AT IT IN PHOTOSHOP YOU SHOULD ADD A DISPLACE MAP TO THE IMAGE. BASICLY DUPLICATE YOUR IMAGE (OR THE PART IN WHICH YOU WANT THE TEXTURE TO SO-IN-SO "MAP" AND TURN IT TO GRAYSCALE. SAVE THAT GRAYSCALE AS A SEPERATE FILE. NOW IN YOUR ORIGINAL, SELECT THE TEXTURE LAYER AND UNDER FILTERS FIND DISPLACE AND LOAD IN THE GRAYSCALE IMAGE. WHAT THIS DOES IS IT USES THE LIGHTS AND DARKS OF THE GRAYSCALE IMAGE TO DETERMINE HOW THE TEXTURE WILL LAY ON THE OBJECT. ITS QUITE COOL ONCE YOU FIGURE IT OUT.

WHAT DO YOU MEAN BY "DEMON" TEXTURES. I IMAGINE WE ALL HAVE INTERPRITATIONS ON WHAT DEMONS ARE SUPPOSE TO LOOK LIKE. IF YOU MEAN AS MENTIONED IN THE TOPIC "SCALES", WELL I WOULD DO SOME SORT OF PATTERN IN VECTOR FORM IN "ILLUSTRATOR" AND THEN IMPORT THAT PATTERN INTO PHOTOSHOP AND GO TO TOWN . AS FOR "DEMON" TEXTURES, THINK LEATHERY AND WITH HIGH SPECULAR WETNESS, LOTS OF SMALL SPIKES IN STEAD OF HAIR -ALA-DINOSAUR. BUT IF YOU MEAN THE TEXTURE I DID ABOVE , WELL WHAT I DID WAS SCAN IN PICTURES OF STEAK AND MEAT, BLENDED THEM, THEN AIRBRUSHED THE SHADOWS AND HIGHLIGHTS ADDED COLOR IN AREA, AND ADDED THE VEINS.
