zakalwe, that is not exactly what I mean refer to DaVinci's regular dodecahedron as illustrated in Luca Pacioli's De divina proportione. It will be a start but it looks like I'll have some work to do. Currently I'm using bryce 3d and there is no dodeca in the objects library (default) I should try the tool kit and see if there is one in there. Thanks everyone for your input.

FYI I have looked at "market place" search tool at this site and find some primitives items that include dodecahdra but they are for vue 4 (?) nothing for Bryce... Thanks

How should I be setting my memory configs to get the best performance for some of these things. SOme 3d IFS, and lorenz attractor typr solids I have rendering at over 2 bill. iterations , its taking about an hour for 640x480. Clark
