Thread: Why can't I save DAZ figures in Poser | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Thanks for the reply. No, I'm using V3 not V4, does that make a difference? But yeah its just like you said, I loaded V3, spun some dials and I get the message can't open cr2 files.
Thread: Is Poser Dynamic Hair dead? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Thanks for the feedback people. This bugged me enough that I called SmithMicro today and spoke to a guy in tech support. He told me the MP vendors who put out dynamic hair styles "sold as many as I can count on my one hand" and said there just wasn't a demand for it.
I beg to differ. There hasn't been a new Poser dynamic hair model in MP for three years and in that time computers have gotten a lot faster, Poser now runs 64 bit and between P5 and P-pro the dynamic calculations can only have gotten better. Also if there's no demand for dynamic hair then why is DAZ releasing Carrara dynamic hair models on a more regular basis? And why do they look so much better than the ones for Poser when Poser has had such a long head start?
I must add the guy at SmithMicro tech support was very interested in my concerns about this.
